I was honestly surprised by how much I loved this game. For those who haven't played or heard of Super Mario 3D World, this game is an expansion on a popular level-type found in SM3DW featuring Captain Toad. The basic mechanic is that the stages are typically square or rectangular (although this format is often tossed aside for some very creative level design), you move camera around to get different views of the stage, and Toad can't jump. Sounds simple, but Nintendo put together a lot of very fun and creative levels. I'd also recommend this if you're the type of gamer who likes to get all of the extras / complete the checklist in each level. Each level has a few optional goals which are very rewarding to check off.

Bought this game for my whole family to play. Husband, Son (age 5) and myself. We took turns beating the levels. We were surprised to beat it rather quickly. We were disappointed that it was over so fast.... BUT then another chapter opened! There is so much content to the game. We still haven't fully completed it. It's a great game, easy to play. Love that it's easy for the whole family. It has the fun of a mario game without the complicated jumping.

Since when has Nintendo not been known to create fun and different experiences that transcend age? This game is no different. If you think about, it's a very basic concept to a game, but a well executed one. Can't recommend it enough.

Since this game was based on a minigame in Super Mario 3D World, I wasn't expecting groundbreaking innovations. As my kids loved SM3DW, though, it was a great extension to the fun.

Finding toad is one of the best additions to the game. It adds a whole new layer that almost feels like a second game. Buy a toad amiibo if you have or want this game.

I bought this game because I enjoyed this mini game when it was on super Mario 3d world, it's even better as a stand alone, hours and hours of fun

I really like this game because its pretty "easy", meaning I can just plop down and play a couple levels then pop out. Exactly what I was looking for when I purchased it. I do wish it allowed multiple players to have their own games so everyone in the family could play at their own pace.

Fantastic puzzle game, as it was the best part of the newest mario release game. Lots of levels. Very gf friendly.

This is a fun game although it may be a bit short. I got a very good deal and very satisfied with Best Buy's Pre-owned products. It looks like new with no scratches and plays perfectly. Thanks Best Buy for such a great deal.

Captain Toad is full of fun. Great puzzles that are not to hard noir to easy. The graphics are awesome and really cute. You will definitely love Toad.

the puzzles in this game are really fun and challenging. perfect for kids.

I would say this game was a bit too kiddish for me, but I know some adults that like playing it themselves or with their kids. Definitely geared towards those who like to solve puzzles.

Toad as a Captain of his very own adventure is even better than I could have imagined. He can't jump but he is still that dude !!!

I bought a pre owned game CAPTAIN TOAD but when opened the box there was another game.

This is a fun mini game turned into a full fledged game. This is easy to pickup and play. My girlfriend loves the game and its actually quite fun. Nice to see toad get a starring role.

I was really excited to see a Toad game finally made but it wasn't quite what I expected. I think it's more fun for the kids or a family then it is for your average adult unless you enjoy solving puzzles... in 3D.

There are so few great puzzle games out there but among what's available this is incredible. All of the best parts of the toad levels from Super Mario 3D World contained in its own game.
