I really wanted to like this game. We have the xBox 360 mostly for the benefit of my 4 year old nephew. He could not figure out where to go. I played with him in 2 player mode and we could not tell who was ahead or behind. Never got the feeling of a race.
Maybe if I played it a bit longer then I could figure it out, but we got the game for him and he prefers to play Sonic and the All-Stars Racing Transformed.
