My favorite DOA release ever!! I really enjoy playing this game
Even the story mode...its so cool, you don't get stuck here & there then become bored; my son beated the game in his 1st day then started replaying it with a higher difficulty mode!
Among these fighting games: Tekkens, Soul Calibers, Mortal Kombats, Injustice, & Street Fighters...DOA 5 Ultimate is always 1 of our first 2 choices!

I was a fan of the DOA series a number of years ago, but hadn't played any of the newer versions for a while. At only $15, I figured I'd pick this one up and give it a try. The graphics are obviously much improved after all this time, and the fighting system has a few improvements as well. If you're a fan of the DOA series, you'll like this game. If not, there's probably nothing here to change your mind.
As I side note, I got this as a pre-owned version from Best Buy. This is the first time I've gotten a pre-owned game from them and I was impressed. The disc was in excellent condition, as was the case. The instructions weren't included, but that's no big deal.

Game arrived in great condition. Some aspects of the game are a bit annoying, like having to choose the save location each time you fire up, and that family settings aren't allowed in game.
Fighting is good and there's alot of cool new moves, but the gameplay doesn't seem as smooth as DOA4.
Graphics are incredible, as are some of the new stages.
