The game play is fun. They stay very true to the Deadpool character. The writing is very funny and the voice work is good. Game is VERY mature, but lots of fun.

Woo Hoo I get to play as DeadPOOL who is the ultimate mercenary.This guy can rejuvenate, use hand to hand combat, take down multiple enemies at a time, jump instantly from one point to the next and come back from the dead. hehe. I did not know much about him before playing this game but I just had to get it. I love games based on super heroes and as DeadPOOL it is fun to navigate through his bizarre world. He has a funny and dark sense of humor. He also has a relationship if you will with death- a lady skeleton who he only sees in his dreams or when he is at death's door. I enjoyed the story and there are various cameos from Marvel comics. My main complaint is that the game is short and the combat is fairly easy to learn. There is nothing very challenging or difficult about this game. If you are looking for a fun comic based game than DeadPOOL is for you.

Bland combat system and extremely short campaign. I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone who isn't a hardcore deadpool fan

Deadpool is famous in the comic book world for being irreverent and fourth wall breaking. He remains true to form in the video game world, constantly cracking jokes about everything including the fact that he is in a video game. Nolan North as the voice actor captures the feel perfectly, and there are a lot of Marvel character cameos like Cable, Wolverine, Psylocke, Rogue, etc. As for the game, it is quite serviceable as an action game. Not as in depth as better games in the genre like Devil May Cry or God of War, but still lots of fun especially as you acquire more weapons and moves throughout the game. The level design is somewhat bland and uninspired, but overall if you like Deadpool's type of humor, that is enough to carry you through the game.

Really fun game, though it is a bit short. Only took a day or two to beat.
