I just hate it, you are use to a type of controller layout and the they change it,, yes you can configure it butn why change the way it was before. then bird is the main character, dude, dom si better. But then the game play is good, the action is even better the difficult is just a bit harder than the other GOW, so you get grinders and boomers almost from the begining. It is a good game and if you have nto play the other GOW you will think that is the bomb.

The game is fun. If you enjoyed previous Gears of War titles then you will enjoy this one as well. I like how the campaign mode is formatted... breaking up the levels into different sections or battles, making it easier to replay parts of the game where you may have missed a collectible or want to achieve a better score. However, the game was pre-owned and was missing the instruction manual and artwork. I was not aware of this until I opened the game.

Very well done. I love the storyline, the graphics are great and the online play is awesome.

The team that did the first three did the best job. The controls are changed in the game. If you have played the first three games it will be a completely different experience. The controls are different and make the game harder to play. If someone has never played any of the gears games they might like it. The disc I bought was clean and plays liek a brand new disc.

I picked up this game to almost finish my collection of the Gears of War franchise and I have to say it ranks up there with the rest of the series, The gamplay and story hold true to the previous games.

The tweaks to the gameplay, specifically the faster gameplay and tiered maps that allow players to drop down from above, add a faster pace to matches. 50 kill team deathmatches are fast paced and entertaining. I just wish there were more standard maps, i dont want to purchase the DLC. Oh yeah, and bots fill out teams so it is always 5 on 5, which is awesome.

Gears of War always seems to excite and this prequel does just that. Plenty of enemies, lots of action, same easy to remember controls it's a blast! Online to me is the best part. For the price it is now definitely get it!

This was an interesting take on Gears of War, really like how the break the game up in to small chunks. It did break up some of the flow of the game but I enjoyed that it could be played in small chunks and that each area was different and had its one changeling declassified mission if you wanted to turn the option on. The declassified mission make the area a little more difficult by adding extra enemies or more challenging ones. Over all I thought it was awesome game.

Great gameplay and it is definitely worth buying and playing.

This is a great game that you can enjoy with a friend

This game is fun. The level design is just about perfect from what I can tell. I've had it for 3 weeks and am at level 26 or so. Finished the first campaign on normal and have about 119 battle stars. Paduk, Cole Train Baird and the chick are great characters to examine during the replays.

It was cheap so I picked it up. I am normally an FPS guy or RPG. 3rd person shooting was new. The action was a bit slow for me, compared to Call of Duty or Halo. But I got used to it. The story was a bit thin. But, I was entertained. It was enough to make me curious to go back and play the earlier Gears games.

One of the things I really like about Best Buy in comparison to others in the preowned market is that you can get great deals on popular games. The other guys just seem to gouge you. This works great for me since I am behind the times. Awesome game!!

This is another gears of war game. If you liked the first three and you are looking for more of the same this is for you.

This game was a pre order and I couldn't find it anywhere. Even though it was a pre order. It was clean as If it was brand new.

Love all the gears games and this one does not disappoint. Storyline isn't as good without Marcus and Dom, but still fun. Graphics and gameplay are great.

The game works great with no problems. Now a huge fan of the game itself but works well would definitely purchase more used games!

My favorite shooter game next to the Call of Duty series.
