The end of a trilogy. God of War is grotesque and brutal. It is also a lot of fun. This remaster brings an already amazing game but makes it better thanks to updated graphics and better performance. If you have not played the God of War series I recommend you play 1 and 2 and the spinoffs, for continuity sake. God of War 3 is the culmination of years of storytelling and ends with a bang.

This is a hack and slash classic and the peak God of War game before the series was rebooted into a slightly different direction. The boss fights are some of the most impressive you'll ever see in a video game. The remastered version runs at 60fps which improves the combat significantly.

Looks better than I remember! Great price for a remake that is worth playing again.

Graphics are amazing storyline is amazing must play

For those who have not played God of War 3 on the PS3, but are interested in the new one, definitely pick this game up. It is going to show you a much angrier, more fierce side of Kratos, in the pivotal showdown with the Pantheons. The graphics and frame-rate are ever better in 1080p/60fps. For the price as well, this game is a must play in the Playstation exclusive landscape.

The God of War III Remastered is a legend and now that they have went back and remastered this game I have played it for the second time. This is a must have I brought this game on PS 3, PS4 and brought it for one of my best friends. Even with God of War 4 I still think this game is the best one they made. Maybe my opinion will change when I beat 4.

If you've played one god of war you've played them all BUT this one has even bigger monsters and more action. Looks great, plays great, go buy it.

Top tier adventure/slasher along side bayonetta, Devil may cry, and Dante’s inferno.

Loved the game. I starter the series with God of War 4 and wanted to dip my toes in the games that preceded it. Overall, I very much enjoyed the game. A heads up though, this game plays much differently than 4. It is morr of a hack and slash game. Still fun though.

If you've already played this game on the PS3, you are not missing much by skipping the PS4 installment. However, graphics fanboys will appreciate the near-60fps experience as well as Broadcast Gameplay capabilities. Hopefully Sony re-releases all of the God of War games on the PS4. It is nice to have all games in a series on one system, excluding streaming service PSNow.

Okay, so this is probably my 4th copy purchased this on ps3 twice and also purchased the 3d pack that came with this as well. When I saw it remastered for the PS4 had to buy it again such a great game one of my favorites!

I play this game on my ps4 and ps5 and both game looks great.

Great hack and slash video game. Do not think about it as a remastered version of previous generation of games, it is actually one of the greatest video games for PS4 if you have not played the PS3 version. If you have, it still can have worth the shot if you are done with the most famous video games of current generation.

Little gory, but thatls not why we buy the game..lol wonderful awesome graphics. loads of killing, blood every where...hahahaha!! How can you not like a game when the main character is six foot, dark hair, abs of steel and just a beast to look at; WOOF!!! He's ramping his way to the top to mutilate is father Zeus!! Why you ask? Play the game my friend....
