The best God of War from the PS3 generation looks and plays better than ever. Not the best remaster when compared to other remasters, but that's likely because the base game was already outstanding. Gameplay is smoother than ever now that it runs at mostly 60 frames per second. Boss fights are fun and level design is excellent, even by today's standards.

I have always lover the God of War series and can't wait for a true sequel to be made for the PS4. GoW 3 has updated graphics and a picture mode that lets you take a screen shot at any moment. Besides that, it is the same game. If you never played it before, this would be a perfect time to play it.

Love this game, I have God of War 4, and I wanted to get a better understanding of the story line.

Lucky they have it bc most places you cant get it and it gives kratos story from greece so if you played the others this fills in the gaps

This is a satisfying ending to Kratos’ story among the Greek Gods. The gameplay was great, the music was strong and meaty, the gore is top notch and the graphics are insane!! Can’t wait to play the last eat GOW for PS4!!!

First off, this is God Of War 3, originally on the PS3, which was an awesome then and today remastered for the PS4 is still an awesome game. They definitely cleaned it up nicely. Not true next-gen graphics obviously, but still looks beautiful. If you love GoW as much as I do, pick this up now!

While this is still a solid game through and through, the remaster is lacking. At times it would appear you're playing on ps3 still, other times there are graphical errors (pink terrain, missing layers/exposed models,etc) but most of the time it just looks like a slightly better looking version of the original. If you've never played this game, it's worth the purchase. If you've already played it, don't come looking for a whole new experience with this.

I never got a chance to play this on the PS3, but it lives up to and improves on GoW 1 & 2. A lot of fun stress relief, a liberal dose of Greek mythology, great graphics. Great way to combat the Wuhan stir craziness.

This game is the pinnacle of the series, in my personal opinion. That being said, if you played the PS3 version, I really didn't see any compelling reason for getting the PS4 version, unless you've never played the PS3 version, or you want the convenience of playing it on PS4. I do have to say though, it's honestly enticing if you get it at the price it gets offered when on sale at the time of this writing, especially with the GCU discount!

I've never played any of the God of War games and while I don't have much of a clue what is going on the action is incredible! Graphics are beautiful...stylish game play with interactive parts where u press a series of buttons while watching the action unfold and a great main character!

I love the GOW series, so it was pretty easy to spend $11.99 for it after a recent sale and the use of my Gamers Club 20%. On the other hand, it is sort of disappointing that Sony keeps pumping out old games with updated graphics instead of coming out with something new.

Perfect to add for your collection. While i was at it got God Of War Ragnarok for the PS4 since i havent made then leap to the next gen.

If you're a God of War fan, you have probably already played this, but it's worth the money to have the definitive version in your ps4 library. The upgrade isn't as obvious as The Last of Us Remastered, but it is still one of the best looking and playing console games available.

Absolute beast of a game. Regret not playing it sooner. But it plays great on the PS5. The remaster feels smooth. Gore. Violence. But we’ll written. There’s a song that is sung at certain parts of the fake that are perfect for the setting. Definitely a must play and must own.

This game is an awesome conclusion to the God of War saga, i played this when released on the ps3. the PS4 version keeps the fun in tact while updating the graphics, the graphics are visually stunning on this game. i would recommend this game to anyone that likes action type games.

This game is simply amazing. Everything from the backgrounds to character models has been upgraded for high definition and it's so much fun to play. Enjoy the experience!. Don't think to buy this game is really worth your money and your time and it's full of action. Best God Of WAR

God of War III is one of the best games of the series. The gameplay of the camara is awesome.

It's a remastered edition of God of War 3. God of war 3 was already one of the best game in ps3. The graphics were already top notch in ps3 and in ps4 it looks amazing. It's worth it if you want to revisit the game again and to those who never had a chance to play it.

It's God of War. Not only is it one of the best Playstation exclusive game series but one of the best game series of any console. Not as good as the newer God of War on the PS4, but still good.

Great game bought it because it was cheap and I have always loved God of war needed something to tide me over as I wait for the new one to never come out. I wish they would rerelease Ascension for PS4 because I never got a chance to play that one.
