My only experience with Lego games so far has been the Harry Potter games, which are mostly pretty easy, and good for someone like me who tends to get frustrated with video games. Lego Lord of the Rings is a little more challenging than the Harry Potter games, and also a bit darker, though the story is darker than HP anyway. I haven't made it very far in the game yet, but I'm impressed with the graphics and how it follows the story. The sound quality is pretty good too. I got frustrated at one part and had to put it down and haven't picked it back up again yet, but I'm not much of a gamer really. I just like to play every now and then.

I bought a used copy of this game from Best Buy, and so far, no problems. I'm a big fan of the Lego games, and this one does not disappoint. It is challenging and very entertaining, especially as a huge Lord of the Rings fan. The only qualm I have with this game is that it does not have a download play option -- in other words, if I wanted to play with other people, they'd have to own a copy of the game as opposed to being able to download it from my copy of the game. Regardless, I'd highly recommend this game!

What a great price and it arrived so fast! I demo'd the game through the Nintendo eShop and I was sold because I was good at it. The game is super cute, fun and funny. I'm sure it's not as long as any of the films but to see the scenes recreated with Lego versions is priceless on it's own. In some portions of the game it is amazing how much freedom in the environment there is and you can play as many of the lovable characters from the films. Thumbs up!
