This game felt and played like the original Luigi's Mansion for Gamecube, except for a few added features. I like how they added a ghost dog that revives you if you have a bone for him. The game makes excellent use of the gyroscope that's in the 3DS handheld. Almost every stage has a hidden Boo to find if you like the extra challenge. The main story line is to find all of the Dark Moon fragments that the ghosts have taken and hidden. The game is not scary at all but rather fun and humorous. It is great for all ages. I highly recommend it for anyone that owns a 3DS.

If you love a rewarding gaming experience than this game is for you. The 3d is amazing and the soundtrack is perfect. As for the gameplay if you played the gamecube version its very similar to that. If you havent its quit challenging to get the hang of but a rewarding experience and something very unique to modern gaming. If you want to take a break from the typical zelda and mario games pick this up today.

I never played the 1st game but heard good things. I saw this game on a list of the best games on the system and thought I would give it a try. It is a slower pace and involves a lot of exploring, but overall it is fun. It is not incredibly deep and won't be played a lot, but it is a nice change of pace. Very kid friendly too. My 4 year old likes to play it but doesn't quite understand the mechanics yet.

This is hands down one of my favorite 3ds games they have made so far. I mean what is not to like about a Luigi game? The gameplay is smooth graphics are nice and appealing. If you do not own this do yourself a favor and pick it up. It will only go up in value just like all other Super Mario Bros related games.

Looks great, great atmosphere and charm (as Nintendo is always great at) I'd recommend for any 3DS owner :)

Purchased this game to have something a little different than a typical platform style Mario game. The graphics are good and it requires a bit of searching and problem solving but overall a great game.

This is my first entry into the series.Though I did get the original Gamecube version I jumped on this one first.Pretty easy to follow and fun to play.

one of the most anticipated sequels in video game community to the great Luigi's mansion on the GameCube. has the same charm and feel from the first one. atmosphere and soundtrack are delightful as well as the animation. 3d implementation is perfect and doesn't take away from the game, adds to the game. basically without giving away plot, this game is a must buy and will be one of your favorites

I never played the first game in the series but this one is great fun. It's not scary at all and sucking up ghost is a blast.

Its a different experience from typical Mario games. With that said, it has a charming feel to it and had pretty clever gameplay mechanics. It fully utilizes the power and functions of the 3DS.

Anticipated sequel to the great game on gamecube. It picks up from the last game and luigi is back at it again catching the ghosts. lovely style and art. The game mechanic is easy and enjoyable.

This is definitely a sequel worth checking out. Even if you’re not familiar with the original GameCube title, there’s a good chance you’ll find something to love about the sequel. It’s a shame that it took this long for it to happen, but the wait was certainly well worth it. What the future has in store for this particular Nintendo franchise is hard to say, but there’s definitely been a high bar set for any future game in the series going forward.

Very interesting gameplay. Graphics are amazing. 3D graphic really pop.

Bought the game for my son because games from the Mario series. Game play is a little different but he loved this one too.

This is the best game from all the mario and luigi games for 3ds. Great game for classic gamers.
