I got this for under $5 so wasn't expecting much but to my surprise its pretty well done. I haven't played a ton of it so cannot speak to how long the game itself is but the gameplay is pretty nice controls are good would recommend picking up if you can find it cheap. $10 or under to me is a good deal on this game.

To start, MadWorld has a fairly basic control scheme. To use Jack's chainsaw, you have to hold down the B button, but he only has two methods of standard attack, either swinging the remote downward, or from side to side. Tapping A unleashes a flurry of punches. The gameplay is repetitive, but overall good. Certain aspects of the environment can be used to hurt or otherwise kill the enemies (e.g. he can pick up a tire and slam it down on his enemy). There is also a combo system which encourages use of multiple environmental objects to kill the enemy ( e.g. he can shove a signpost through an enemies head, shove a barrel on top of them, and impale them on a spike coming out of the wall). The game gives you a certain amount of time to complete each level. There are also minibosses in each level that join in the combat( e.g. a robot with slicing claws), and there is also an objective to complete for each level (e.g. kill three aliens). There is also a boss match at the end of each level. The whole map is divided into six parts, each of which containing three levels, (except for the last section, which has two). At the last level in each section, there is a boss that is considerably tougher than the other ones. Jack also has power struggles with tougher enemies which involve time movements of either the remote, or nunchuck. He has finishing move sequences that make use of one quick movement of the remote. The sequences range from pummeling an enemy to death, to breaking them in half. Weapons are available in each level, such as a spiked bat, or daggers, each of which having a unique finishing move. The enemies typically attack in groups, which makes for interesting combat, but they say the same phrases over and over. To make it seem like a real competition, there are announcers who say things based on the attacks and combos you use. They can get slightly annoying at some points in the game. Overall, it's a pretty decent game.

The gameplay is quite special. The wii remote and nunchuk are cleverly incorporated into a gameplay as unique as the graphic novel-esque visual design.
