This is a good game if you like marvel. You get to join a team of the best marvel characters. Multiplayer is the best part about this game

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 is a really great game and Best Buy offered the pre-owned copy at a price much less than anyone else. The pre-owned copy was in excellent condition....much better than other pre-owned games I've bought from other stores.

I'm a huge fan of the first Marvel Ultimate Alliance game, which debuted on the PS2/XBox. Great use of the IP, lots of bonuses to unlock, fun (but repetitive) gameplay. Somehow I hadn't noticed that a sequel came out for the next generation consoles. It appears that the game is currently out of print, so I was really happy to find pre-owned copies on the Best Buy website. About the physical condition of the game itself -- fantastic. The case and booklet show a little bit of wear of tear, but otherwise in great condition. The disc is almost flawless. So far no hiccups while playing. The actual game content? Underwhelming. I basically wanted the gameplay of the previous game with a new story, some new characters, and updated graphics. Instead, I learn after the fact that a new studio had taken over. The graphics are dark and murky. The most maddening thing about the new game are the awful camera angles. You are supposed to be able to control the camera with the right analog stick, however there seem to be narrow limitations on what perspectives you can actually see. I would even find myself tilting my head, as if I'd be able to achieve a broader view of the game play. About the only interesting wrinkle in the sequel is the addition of combo specials, although for less than obvious teamups the default is to have both characters run around and hit stuff. Uninspired.

This is an older game no longer in production. It is fun for Marvel fans who enjoy selecting and playing their favorite characters. The Cinematics are rich. The massive rise of Marvel popularity from the movies has driven the price through the roof. Best Buy is reasonable though. This is not worth 30+ unless you are a hard core fan.

Saying that the first game is better than this game will basically tell you everything. It will make you wonder if they actually made this game first. Purchased for the kids to play, but certain parts of the game are too difficult for them to understand (2-7 years old kids). I don't recommend this game even though it's a rare title. The new Lego game with the same heroes should satisfy kids. Collectors should check elsewhere. Purchased the pre-owned version. Came with disc only, and a replacement case. Not sure why Best Buy gives you less for a trade in if it's not complete (doesn't come with everything), but will turn around and sell it to you at a fixed price.

This game is hard to find and it was a great price on BestBuy.com. The storyline is interesting, the characters are well-known Marvel characters, and the graphics are good. I originally bought this because I like the Marvel Universe and it had the potential to be a 2 player game. I'm very happy with my purchase!
