I haven't been able to put it down. If you've played any of the metal gear games you'll like this one. A+ graphics a+story. Hasn't gotten repetitive and continues to be challenging.

At first I didn't think I would like it because purchased MG Solid V and it was like a demo, and in my opinion a waste of 30 bucks. Not this time, I did my research and checked out YouTube reviews to be in the loop. I love this game. I love the stealth and open world manage the mission as you please approach. The graphics are just absolutely outstanding. The game play is smooth as silk with some minor quirks, but nothing to make the game lacking in quality. It's fun as well. Any gamer that wants to play a military game this is one you should consider. As always though shop around.

One of the best Metal Gear Solids in my opinion. Very immersive and interactive MGS- night and day compared to its predecessors. Love the fact that Kojimi incorporate the "free world" style game versus its traditional linear story format. Be ready for that huge change. Because of that same change of format it feels much less theatrical than its predecessors. However, to some that may be a good thing seeing how historically contrived and far-fetched the plots Metal Gear Solids can be. Gameplay is a 10 out of 10. Customization features galore and action-packed. Highly recommended!

I'll admit that the game starts off really slow but once you get into the meat of the game it is a lot of fun and lots of different things to do.

Alright, I'm still early in the game, but I'm absolutely loving it. MGSV is basically a big budget Peace Walker. You have a base, take missions, drop into the mission area, and go to work.
Stealth is praised over violence. Non-lethal takedowns help cement you as a legend on the battlefield. You're offered a great array of gadgets to research, build, customize, and use.
It's an amazingly fun game that also allows me to sneak around stealing people's summer jams right out of their cassette players (which amuses me to no end).

A sandbox version of Metal Gear? Kojima proves yet again why he's a gaming genius. Its a shame that this will most likely be the last Metal Gear game he ever makes but what a way to go out. I highly recommend this game to anyone who loves open world games and stealth, the freedom in this game is just amazing and I can see Phantom Pain taking a lot of gaming awards home later on this year. The only game I feel that contend with Metal Gear Solid V Phantom Pain is the upcoming Fallout 4. This is a must own for all gamers.

Game was great offering a look into the next anticipated metal gear story. This game goes back and tells a story of Big Boss. Loved the different terrain and weather elements. Did not like how the game glitched every few minutes.

This is probably the best Metal Gear Solid made as far as gameplay, graphics, audio, etc goes. However, after a certain point, you can tell when they told Kojima he had spent too much money and needed to wrap things up. The plot (which is convoluted and confusing at best) and story missions stop abruptly, cutting off several narratives and subplots. What you are left with is the ability to replay the same missions over and over again with different goals and difficulties. The online play bombed, to put it plainly. This game is still an amazing experience, just don't expect it to last forever.

MGS V is the first Metal Gear game I've picked up in a while. I have to say it is definitely the best entry to get back into the series. While the story is a bit confusing, the game play is impressive. A truly impressive sand box game with a large environment to explore and missions that you can approach in your own way make this a game with a lot of replay potential. Adaptive enemies help vary the missions. Certainly a lot to enjoy if you enjoy military stealth/espionage games.

If you're a fan of the metal gear series, this purchase is a no brainer. I enjoyed the game play much more than the previous installment, but like other reviewers have pointed out, the story pretty much falls off the rails towards the end, and the climax is pretty anti-climactic. That really doesn't matter though, because there is so much packed into the game itself that you'll be too busy calling in supply drops onto enemy heads to care much about the story anyway.

The final Metal Gear game developed by the legendary developer Hideo Kojima brings new additions to the Metal Gear franchise while catering to older elements. A broad open-world teeming with things to do is saturated with some of the best enemies ever programmed in a game today. Challenge yourself with lethal enemies who learn from your tactics and fought with as much vigor as Big Boss himself.
If you love Metal Gear you should've already purchased this game by now.

Fantastic optimization. amazing gameplay. Gorgeous visuals. Kojima productions mangum opus. A must play for any gamer out there. Regardless if you have played a Metal Gear before. Don't deprive yourself of this masterpiece. 10/10
What we have here is a nearly perfect finale to the Metal Gear franchise. I truly believe that The Phantom Pain is where Kojima always envisioned he would take the franchise. This is personalized, open-world infiltration at its finest.
