The biggest issue I have is that the smaller screen and blurrier graphics tend to make the game harder than its console counterpart. But the graphics are pretty good overall and the gameplay is certainly well done. It certainly pales in comparison to the console versions, but if you don't have access to a console or you think of this as an extension of the console game, definitely grab a copy.

Better than its predecessors

It's no offense to it, there are plenty of other mobile platforms that don't hold up as well. The realism desired by MLB games means certain tradeoffs have to be made, like the odd bodies juxtaposed with the realistic faces. That said, the game plays fairly smoothly, and works well for the casual player, but I'd pass if I were looking for a more in-depth game.
