Ok. I know that's saying a lot but I have played all the Mario Kart games including most games that were based off of the karting genre that it originated and Modnation Racers for the PS3 is the most fun and deepest kart racing game ever made. The turbo meter management mechanic works amazingly well. Offensive and defensive moves are unmatched in any other kart racing game that I ever played by far. Side swiping opponents, force fields for defending yourself from getting hit by other racers, and the turbo meter are only some things that I can't imagine not having in a kart racing game from this point on. People are still playing this game online to day and the game is over 5 years old! There's even 4 player split screen and 2 player split screen for online races. If you're in the market for a really fun and addictive kart racing game, this is the best one to buy. It's even better (a lot better) than it's successor, Little Big Planet Karting. That game feels like 2 steps backwards in comparison. And making your own mods, karts, and tracks are super easy and fun to do in Modnation Racers. I can't recommend this game enough. 5 stars.

Exciting because you can create new cars and characters! Exciting multiplayer game for kids!

kids just don't play this one as much as the others but it works fine...
