New Super Mario Bros. has been a series that lacks innovation, and I'd be remiss to say that New Super Mario Bros. U strays anywhere away from the formula. Introduce a new item (The flying squirrel Mario suit), use it early and often, and create 80 or so new levels. However, I will say that what sets this apart from New Super Mario Bros. 2, is the amount of fun this entire game is. There's no pushed theme like the coin theme in the aforementioned game, just wonderfully designed levels, and a lot of content. The challenge mode the game possesses gives something extra to do inside of the game as well, and does a good job of adding extra play time to the game. No, it's by no means innovative in any sense of the word, but the game is fun, and seems to have the heart the first game in the series had. I'd like to see some innovation in the next game, but for now, this is definitely worth playing.

It's super Mario bros...u cannot go wrong...this is one of my favorite games...it's a classic...stages are challenging

I purchased this game for My WiiU, and I love every minute of it. It brings me back to my childhood when Mario games were king! Just as much fun as any of the games in the franchise. And it looks gorgeous! The 3D graphics make Mario and the gang look better than ever.

This is more about getting the game from best buy than the game itself. Got it cheaper here used than on Amazon and the game/case and everything look/felt new. Was able to get this is as a gift for more than half what it would've cost me to get new.

Once again another brilliant Mario Bros. game. Mario in HD for the first time ever. Great new level designs and areas to play. Some of the bosses in the first castles of certain areas are too easy to defeat, but generally the level to get to them is still a challenge. If you enjoyed the Super Mario Bros for the Wii then you will certainly love this one for the Wii U. It further enhances and extends onto the theme of that game. This game is even more fun played co-operatively with friends. As always Mario does not disappoint us loyal fans since the original was made on the NES.

This is the best side scrolling Mario game since Super Mario World on the SNES. I don't say that lightly either. This game gets progressively harder at a decent pace and has a lot of secrets to find.

I've played a lot of Mario games and this one doesn't disappoint. Very fun game with bits and pieces of the previous games built in. Used copy was in like new condition.

Plays like the SNES super mario world but newer. It is a ton of fun. Recommend buying it if 3d world is too hard for you because you don't have depth perception either.

With 4 player co op, everyone can play. It's classic 2D style Mario with modern graphics and new obstacles. If you like Mario, you'll like this.

Keeping the momentum going from New Super Mario Bros 2, this installment improves upon it with fun new power ups and improved coop.

This is a wonderful game! If you live Mario you'll love this game. Some of the levels though seem impossible unless you have someone operating the gamepad but other than that this is such a fun game and it's great that Mario is finally in HD! The graphics are great and the gameplay is fun. I recommend this game to any Wii U owner.

My son and I love playing this game. It's fun for the whole family. The pre own disc was in great condition.

I wasn't too big of a fan of the New Super Mario Bros game on the Wii, but this game fixes all the things I didn't like about the previous one. It plays better, the levels are more enjoyable and plus it's great to play on the WiiU gamepad

Harkens back to the NES games of old. This classic platformer is great for gamers young and old.
