Nowhere near as bad as some make it out to be. It has a fair share of flaws but I had fun with it. I like how the single player/co-op story was divided into 4 different character arcs that crossed over at certain parts. Replaying those areas (but as different characters) can be annoying. Graphics are good with some levels better than others. Character models are excellent though. Controls are better than in previous games. Overall,if you didn't give this a chance because of past reviews I say check it out esp. if you can find it $10 or cheaper.

I'm a big RE fan but I must say the franchise is leaning more toward action movie type gameplay with RE6 as opposed to horror. The quick scene gameplay can get annoying but I give it 4 stars because I'm a RE fan period. If you're looking for jump scares and spin-chilling bosses, you won't find it with RE6. If you're looking for an apocalyptic action shooter that allows you to play with different characters who have different combat skills, you'll enjoy this. Wesker's son was my favorite. Buy it pre-owned or rent before you purchase.

I will "review" the ability to buy pre-owned games at Best Buy, rather than the actual game itself, since there are tons of game reviews out there! This was my first time doing so. The advantage in buying pre-owned is obviously price, and it can be a BIG advantage, depending on the age of the title. The major knock on buying used that I can tell is the lack of game manuals and such. However, anyone who knows how to use a search engine can find a digital copy of game manuals from a variety of sources, including the game manufacturer. In this case, the manuals are readily available from CapCom, the manufacturer, among several other mirrors. Another possible perceived drawback might be the condition of the actual discs. From what I gather, these discs go through individual testing before being re-labelled for sale as pre-owned. So far, so good. I saved over 50% off the retail price and discovered a cost effective way to have some good ol' zombie slayin' fun!

I bought this game pre owned for only $5 with credit from my best buy rewards. The game is great three differant characters all with there own area to play through. I'm currently playing through the first and loving it! Great addition to the series!

This game makes me feel like it's actually happening. The game seems realistic and is challenging.

I played through the first part of this game so far and from what I have played it has some good things. The co-op is still good from Resident Evil 5 and more fluid. The controls do feel weird at first but after a little bit its not too bad. The length of the game with all stories combined gives you value as well.

some parts are great and some are just ok. it is never a bad game just not amazing

Just getting going, but it is fun so far. Every game in the RE franchise seems to be better than the last.

Resident Evil is a lways a good choice. I remember the 1st like it was last night. I turned on the surround sound, cut the lights, and pressed start. Less than 2 minutes later I nearly wet myself. Keep up the good work!
