      I haven't played a video game set in ancient Rome since Centurion: Defender of Rome when I was a kid. Well this was worth the wait. Great graphics, smooth gameplay, interesting storyline and the way you kill an opponent is awesome.

      Ryse has some of the best graphics Ive seen in the game and very brutal combat. It has a wealth of different execution moves, sadly you'll find yourself doing the same 4 or so throughout the entire game since it doesn't explain how to set them up. The story wasn't very interesting.

      So far, I'm less than impressed with Ryse: Son of Rome. The gameplay is not very smooth, and most of the fighting techniques seem very repetitive. I'm only about 10 hours into the game, but I feel like I've been doing the same thing since I started. The strategy portions add a nice twist, but seem few and far between.
