      I bought this wanting an affordable PS3 exclusive game. I ended up liking the gameplay very much. the communication features are plentiful and the game is, for a lack of better term, fun... I had a tough time finding a match with a full amount of players but still enough to have fun.. This was a good cheap purchase and if your looking for some online fun after your done with the Call of Duty's of the world, give this a shot..

      I've always been a huge fan of SOCOM and its gameplay since it originally came out back on PS2, but online play is no longer active today on this SOCOM 4.

      It allows for a team work kind of play as is normal from socom,...even if you can't play online.It fulfills your shooter needs but its just not anything outstanding. It was worth buying as a used game. Would rather have rented it.

      This is a great game if you are new to the PS3. So if you just bought one over Turkey day then go ahead and get this game cheap to play and start off on.

      SOCOM 4 was Zipper Interactives last hope in saving the beloved SOCOM series. In short; they failed. SOCOM 4 was plagued with online bugs, and many other issues, and really didn't feel so much like the original SOCOM trilogy on Playstation 2 ( and this is the main reason why this game failed ) The online servers have also been shut down for this game, so if you purchase this, you can only play the Single Player campaign, which is pretty short. Zipper Interactive actually closed down after this game, so... I do not recommend this game.

      Black ops is so cheesy and way too many videos. Socom is way more realistic and fun to play
