Was not sure about this game because of the mixed reviews on various sites. Bought it used because the 50% off used game reward made it only $5. Started playing and was gratefully surprised. Good gameplay, lots of different weapons and vehicles.

This game is pretty good. I enjoy third-person shooting and the ability to craft items and use them in the open-world and then transforming into an air jet-like thing is very cool. The graphics are very good and the gameplay is addicting. It is definitely a worthy buy and can entertain you for hours. IGN rated it a 9.0 which is an excellent score. different take on space cowboy theme, i picked it up for $5 when it was on sale. pretty much any game you get for that price is worth it, but this on is actually worth playing.

Good game. Solid mechanics. Mechs that turn into jets, space battles, 3rd person tower defense shooting! What more could you need?

Awesome story mode, multiplayer mode and story coop mode!

This game was a great price and is in great condition, but since it is pre-owned, the code I needed to access free multiplayer on PS3 had already been used, and therefore was invalid. Starhawks story mode or campaign mode was quite short, as I finished the whole game in 8 hours total. If you want to buy this game for $5, be prepared to only play it for a few hours, because the multiplayer function will not work without a valid code from the manual inside the game box.
