Not as much polish as full 2D Mario, but there is lots to do for just about anyone. Multiple tiers of 100 man challenge allow for a variety of skill levels to enjoy that mode, but the user built levels provide an endless pool of levels, and the building tools are incredibly extensive.

This is certainly a game that makes use of the game pad. When you are tired of making levels, you can always play others' which keeps the game fresh!

Had a lot of fun with this game building levels and challenging friends to beat them and vice versa. There are also some fantastic levels to be played that were created by the community. Game got a bit old kind of quick, but it's definitely something I'll keep coming back to occasionally to check on the new levels that the community has created.

This game is fantastic. If you're not as creative, like me, then you will still get an absolute kick out of this one. Endless gameplay.

First off, I got the pre-owned version and just got a clear plastic case with the disc which was a little disappointing. The game works but the box just doesn't look great next to my other games with box art. Secondly, this Mario game doesn't have the multiplayer that you've come to love from the portable or console version of Mario nor does it have the bountiful and inventive levels designed by Nintendo. Now, with the magic of the internet, Nintendo is taking the LittleBigPlanet approach and letting everyone design their own levels. There's a lot of bad ones out there which is a real downside but the creativity that it allows you is staggering. People are downright geniuses and the good levels out there really shine.

"...Cameron, Devon, Joey, and Micheal..." Looks like this is huge amongst gamers and Mario Bros. fans alike. My son is no exception. As many of you other parents may be aware, our children watch a lot of "...Tube" videos to figure things out and or just for entertainment and my son watched many videos about this game as well. Growing up a child of the 80's, I like seeing that Nintendo is keeping Mario Bros. trucking along!

As I started to play, it was quickly apparent that this was not what I was expecting. There was a lot of things missing that I had seen in videos and such. But then, they gave me some more tools to play with and it got better, and I kept fiddling with them and building, then they gave me more tools, and it got better again. It seems to just be having a slow start, but I'm excited at the possibilities and have enjoyed seeing what other players have built, the controls are very natural and easy to use, but I wish they gave a bit more to play with at a time.

Such a great and very funny game, my son and I love it.

So much fun! You never know what to expect in any given level of Super Mario Maker, and that element of surprise makes playing the levels made with this robust course builder incredibly fun.

it's like having a create a mod for Pac Man , after 20 minutes you'll quickly get bored and realize most people wouldn't be able to create a good board if their life depending on it.

While you'll probably only spend around 15-20% of your time "playing" the levels you and others create in this title, the bulk of the time you spend designing levels is quite fun. There are countless online levels for you try, also. My only gripe with SMM is that - as at as I can see - you can only create one set of levels (or only one complete 32-level game). If anyone knows how to create more, I'd love to know.

If making a Mario level is not your your idea of fun there are thousands of online levels to play through that you may never need to buy another Mario game again!

This is a great way to enjoy the old school mario, plus add your creative touch to it!

I bought a copy of "Mario Maker" because I haven't played a Mario game since the GameCube days. Happy I did because the game is a gem. Very fun and some of the user created levels are crazy challenging.

I was initially anxious about buying a used game from Best Buy online, because there aren't any guarantees that used games will work, but my game works perfectly. This game was shipped quickly and arrived in great condition. Very happy with this purchase!

Pre-owned, but in perfect order. Recommended buy, surely.
