This game is really awesome. The PS4 is better because it doesn't glitch as much as the old one. I failed a couple of classes because of this game but it's definitely worth it

Bought this for my son...he's absolutely loving it! It's better than the original because of the graphics and because of the new mods that have been added for bonus play.

When Skyrim came out 5 years ago I put over 100 hours in to the game on Xbox One and I loved every minute of it. This version is closer to what PC players got all those years ago that console players missed out on. While the modding is limited to what Bethesda wants on console there is still a lot of customization and the graphics looks substantially better (but still not on par with what most games look like today) if you've never played Skyrim before now is the perfect time to jump in or if you're like me and you just want to travel the world of Tamriel again on console it's the perfect way to jump back in.

There is so much to do and you have an open world to play in . Can easily get lost in time here.

Skyrim is definitely one of the best games I have ever played. Extensive number of locations to visit and missions to complete. Your decisions affect the game outcome.

Love this game from back on the PS3 days, It has been great to replay on the PS4 and with the use of mods form the bathesda site it is a whole new experience.

Set 200 years after The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Bethesda gives us a new tale of the Dragonborn (mortal with a dragon soul and powers), off to save the world from the dragon God of Destruction who’s bent on destroying the world. And all the while the endless amounts of side quests and guilds with people that need your help, that distract you from completing the main story line. Yep. Overall, load times have shorten immensely, graphics were redone quite nicely. I’d definitely recommend anyone who loved it to pick it up again, especially if you haven’t played any/all the expansions.

Skyrim s one of the best of the Elder Scrolls series of games and bringing it to the new generation of consoles must've been a quick discussion and gone something like this "Hey Brian, We Should Remake Skyrim for PS4 and XBOX One" "OH MY GOD THAT IS THE BEST IDEA SINCE HOT POCKETS AND RANCH SAUCE!" Okay, maybe not like that, but you get the picture. With the DLC and the ability to replay one of the greatest games to come along in a long time is too hard to pass up. If you haven't played any Elder Scrolls games or were stuck with ESO for a while, get Skyrim, sleep peaceful and enjoy.

I decided to give this a shot when it went on sale before Christmas. It's OK. I find the combat to be a bit clunky but the story line so far is pretty good.

If you like searching and collecting things this game is for you. Graphics are wonderful. I really feel like I'm in a different world when playing.

I originally passed on Skyrim for PS3 as that version was notorious for its performance issues. This Special Edition was on sale recently and couldn’t miss out again. For a last gen game the visuals are still impressive and the world is very immersive. Half the time I’ll get distracted as I’m traveling towards a main quest marker and find a new area that I can’t help but explore even if the enemies suggest otherwise. Highly recommend this for any RPG fan and just what I was looking for to endure the summer gaming drought.

This game is challenging and fun. It's great to create your own characters, but its also nice that its free flowing and open world. Learning all the new tricks and tips is sometimes a bit much to keep up with, but any avid gamer will certainly figure it out quickly.

While I'm generally not a big fan of remakes, I decided to go for this one and travel to Skyrim once again. This game came out originally back in 2011 and won tons of awards, including game of the year from just about every critic out there, despite having a ton of bugs and glitches. With the remaster, most of the bugs and glitches have been fixed. You no longer have a save file size issue. And they made the game run smoother and looks amazing visually. I sunk a few hundred hours into the original, and thus far, will likely be doing that again with the remake.

I loved Skrim when it debuted a few years ago. The PS4 version is great. The graphics are a little better and the game play us still very clean. I was dissapointed that it is essentially the same quests as the original, as I was hoping for expanded and different quests.
