Overall, a fun game. I really enjoyed doing the stealth mission through out the game. I was not a big fan of the open world, it felt like everything was just very repetitive.

As a huge Thief fan from the beginning, I was really looking forward to this release, however after reading poor preliminary reviews, and then experiencing those issues, it was a let down. This does not go to say that the game is "bad" per say, however the developers could have taken this game to new heights and it could have been incredible. The environment is extremely linear, and for being a puzzle-stealth game, its not that difficult to tell where the developers want you to go. You can only climb in certain spots, and there is no in-game jump (not a huge deal, but some like that feature). Another issue is the in-game audio, in some areas where you are supposed to be "listening" for information, other audio is in the background that's LOUDER than the voices you are supposed to be listening at (example is guards are talking so loudly while your trying to ease drop on a conversation) Another is in cut-scenes, the background is louder than the cut-scene audio. There are many low-budget errors in this big-budget game, however these are errors that don't necessarily prevent you from enjoying the game, however they do hinder your overall taste and experience of what it could have been. Thief is a great snatch and grab stealth game where you grab all the loot you can without getting caught by the guards, whose AI is a little sketchy, and a little dumb, but with the fact if you get caught by two guards you are pretty much dead. One other huge let down is the game loads, you play in "Sections" and there are loading screens for each section or chapter of the game. sometimes if you even enter through a window in the main city, you will get into a loading screen, which I feel this is diminishing to the overall feel of the game, makes it more restricted and feel less open. Overall I would give it a 6 or so, its not terrible, but was hoping for more, especially for a next gen game. Its somewhat disappointing.

Not for the action adventurer but for some one who likes to find the non violent solution to a puzzle this game rocks. Theif was previewed as an excitingly up tempo game but in my opinion fell short

Overall If you are a fan of the other thief games you will like this game. There is lots of loot to discover, secrete paths to find, and guards to avoid. Graphics are good but don't blow you away. Story is ok but you really need to read all the news papers and documents to have a better understanding of things. In general it doesn't really matter because its not that interesting :-). If you are looking for an action packed kill everyone in your path than this game is not for you. If you take things slow and play like a real life thief that you will have more fun.

This is my first thief game and it's not bad at all. The stealth gameplay is above average to me and the atmosphere is great. I would recommend.

I love this game so far. The graphics are great during gameplay but during theatricals the frame rate is inconsistent and tends to have a lag.

Very challenging game works on your stealth. Has excellent graphics if you liked the first thief you will like this one even better...

I was very impressed with item no scratches or issues and being preowned sometimes you don't get what you expect. But product was like brand new. Game is for my husband for Christmas he should like it will find out.

Fun game to play for a reasonable price. The dynamics of the game keep the player involved which makes the player not want to stop playing the game. Very exciting.

I was very excited to play this game, despite all of the negative reviews, but I now know that not all of the critiques were unwarranted. Loading screens were often long and prevalent, the story was so-so, and there was a brief moment at the beginning where the voices didn't match up with the subtitles. However, I greatly enjoyed the stealth elements of the game and I thought it was fun, overall.

Thief is a decent game, but definitely not for the casual gamer. The storyline and graphics were both good in my opinion, but I felt the game was too slow for me to want to keep it around and let it take time away from other games. To be fair, I must confess that I only played it for about two hours before trading it back in, perhaps the game picks up and I just didn't give it enough time.

great stealth game, love the graphics. My only gripe is that there is not a lot of variety in combat and exploration

great game, could have been more open. the open world is very confusing, easy to get lost. still the gameplay is fun

The graphics on this game are amazing, but if you have an older tv that tends to display things towards a darker tint then you may have some problems seeing some stuff in the game. The gameplay is basically played during the night, so it's always dark throughout the cities as well as inside some of the buildings if the lights and/or candles are not lit. Overall it's a great game that's been well thought out - it reminds me a lot of Assassin's Creed.

I've played the original, and I'm half way through this one. It looks amazing thanks to the PS4. I can't wait to finish it.

Thief is a game designed primarily for hardcore stealth gamers. You have the option to play more aggressively, but those gameplay mechanics are not as fleshed out as the ghost-like stealth play style. There are also fun puzzle segments and some interesting and/or creepy environments. This game is not for everyone. But if you have a craving for a new stealth game that can offer a challenge, Thief would not be a bad choice.

If you played this game in the 90's you will be very pleased with this remake. Mechanics and graphics are great. I miss the sword though

This was a great mystery game with some tough areas to get thru. It was a fun game that keeps your attention.

This game is your typical first person atealth game. It looks good and is fun but nothing ground breaking

This game sounded great, but underperformed. Its background graphics are impressive, although probably not fully taking advantage of the PS4's incredible hardware. For some reason the character models look like what I would expect from the PS3. Probably some of the worst facial shading I have seen in a game. The voice acting and storyline are just awful. The controls take a lot to get used to, so expect to spend a considerable amount of time figuring out simple things like jumping. Stealing is fairly entertaining, but it gets pretty boring after a while. Especially considering you are mainly just stealing people's silverware. Combat is ho-hum, but that's not the point of the game.
