Deep RPG If you can get past the controls.

A bit cliche story, minor complaints with the controls scheme aside; This is a solid RPG buy for Ps3. Think fantasy medieval mecha MMO grinding scattered with a cliche JRPG story.

The game showed up in a blank case with no game cover and no manual. The game made it fine but would have been nice to know that the full game box wasnt included.

This is a long game and can get grindy, but it's a JRPG so what do you expect. Regardless, it's a fun game.

I have played it for more than 500 hours and I still love it. It is a true Multiplayer RPG where you get to chose your roll (Mage, Archer, Axe, Sword, etc.) . More than 50 online quests, and several dozens of different armors and weapons somewhat customizable. The battle and video quality are well above average. This game is definitely not for beginners, but for RPG lovers.

White Knight Chronicles is a game about a boy rescuing a princess from an evil empire who wants to use her for her powers to conquer the world. Creative, right? The story itself is not particularly fascinating after about 10-20 hours of gameplay. But there are some points where i was geniunely suprised by the plot twists. I can't comment on the online portion as I did not have internet at home when i owned this game. Character progression seems like it's taken a cue from past final fantasy games, where you have skill points to spend after each level gained. What weapon or skill type you apply these too dictates what class your character actually is. For example, you can balance between Longsword skill, black and white magic and have an all around character, or just Longsword skill have a Tank type character. You create a character in the beginning of the game, but this is not the main story character. He or she only takes over when you do the solo missions or go online. Combat is a lot like Final Fintasy 12, but to me is a lot smoother. The only real complaint I have is Youfight monsters....constantly. Dungeons have monsters coming every 5 seconds. They are all on screen, no randoms, so you can try to run, but only if your AI companions decide to come with you. If you want an RPG to kill about 50 hours with, then i can recommend it. Might definitely be worth checking out if you are looking for a game for online play as well.
