I had this exact same audio interface before I gave it away, I got used to it, so bought it again but I have a simple warning, sometimes when turning on your computer the interface won’t work unless you disconnect and connected again, I think I might be doing something wrong but happen to me with the old one too. Other than that headphone and mic are amazing!

The PreSonus - Audio Box USB 96 Studio is an affordable solution if you're looking to get into podcasting or recording your music. The real question is, does the performance hold up to this unit's price? This kit comes in at only $199 plus shipping and tax which is fairly reasonable considering what all you get inside of the package. The kit includes HD7 Headphones, a PreSonus AudioBox USB 96, an M7 Condenser Microphone, and a free digital download of Studio One Advanced Digital Audio Workstation. The PreSonus AudioBox USB 96 features two Microphone XLR microphone/instrument inputs. The M7 Microphone has a 24-bit resolution, 44.1, 48, 88.1, and 96 kHz sampling rate which is great quality out of the box but there is some slight noise. I use this microphone to record my mother's radio show and it has worked perfectly. This microphone is broadcast-ready. The HD7 headphones feature a precision-tuned acoustic chamber and Auto-fit head pads. The headphones have pretty good bass and sound quality. Lastly, Studio One Advanced Digital Audio Workstation Was a great bonus. and has all of the features that you need to get started recording and producing. The only thing that I do not like about this product is AudioBox only has two microphone inputs. It would also be nice if the AudioBox featured Bluetooth connectivity so you can record audio from your cell phone calls. Overall, this is a great product for any intermediate content creator. Works as expected on MacBook Pro! Studio One 5 installed and added Auto Tune. All going fine!

Can't wait to record my first. I've tried this and it sounds good in testing.

I can not recommend this. Only 2 XLR mic ports. This is a nicely built unit with underperforming specs honestly. The mic and headphones are good quality I will say.
