Kind of a event horizon tone to it. Spooky environments, good story, fun attacks and progression. Really fun game, for the low price its a no brainer. Would recommend

This was one of the best space station games I’ve ever played. Creative, sometimes scary, and always fun. Incredible gameplay and intriguing story. Eagerly awaiting a sequel!

This game is clever. Who makes a goo gun? That's just one of the weapons in this one. A good game, though just a bit lower on my list than Dishonored.

The game reminded me so much of some of the games i played as a kid (deus ex , system shock, quake). It has everything youd want from a sci fi game as well. Featuring a number of beautiful environment models. My only complaint is that it was short however the price reflects that.

Feels like a mix between Bioshock and System Shock, but never excels like either do. Atmosphere is great, but the combat (especially melee) lacks. Good buy if you can get it on sale.

Graphics are on point and so is the main story. A long time in the making, a little different from the original but a worthy sequel nonetheless

Very Bioshock in space vibes. Great game. Visuals and gameplay are top notch. A little on the difficult side at times, but overall good stuff.

Prey is a survival horror, first person shooter game with some rpg elements that, for me, falls somewhere between Alien Isolation and Bio Shock. The plot and narrative are pretty linear, but getting out of situations has a multitude of methods. You can try to run and gun, hide/sneak, set up traps and so on. If you are familiar with the flexibility in solving missions in games like Deus Ex, then you'll be familiar with this playing style. The game is good and I could see a sequel being even stronger. It's interesting to see how they could come up with this from the original Prey on the Xbox 360.

Haven’t played too much of it yet. I got it when it was on sale and am still in the middle of another game. What I have played is good though. The feel of the opening of the game is new to me. Like some story elements found on a computer or something aren’t just brought in to immeasurable view, one would have to move the camera as close to the screen or paper in game to read the email or something. It made it feel a bit more albeit a bit annoying but real. :)

In a flooded genre of FPS shooters Prey manages to stang on it's own with unique weapons and stellar gameplay and graphics and mood.

Bioshock in Space

Bioshock was my favorite game when I first played it back in 2008 (PS3 port, I'm aware it launched originally back in 2007)
Solid shooter, riveting story, and amazing atmosphere.
Prey delivers all of this in spades. Unlike Bioshock the combat is a little lacking and using the Gloo gun against mimics showcases this. As the player character you feel sluggish and swinging the wrench around feels slow as well.
Playing on PS4 Pro and I don't see any noticeable improvements visually over the base PS4. For folks who loved the Bioshock franchise and System Shock before that, this game is a must own.

I haven't gotten too far in this one yet, but Bethesda has gone above and beyond with the story structure, the character design and the overall creepiness of the game. It's not as good as their latest attempt with the Doom franchise, but it's pretty close. It's taking me a little while to get the hang of the controls after playing Borderlands before this one but it was definitely worth it, especially since it was on sale and I have the Gamer Membership and it got the game guide and a steelbook case for it.

While I wasn't too excited about this game, watching videos on YouTube made me interested. The price was just too insane to pass it up (seven bucks) I began it but it inspired me to play the original Prey game which I had for my Mac from years ago yet hadn't finished. While I'm drawn to play this one I feel compelled to finish the first. Different story, almost a completely different game, I can't wait to fully invest in this one!

When Prey was released in May, the reviews were not overly kind. I bought it anyways, because I like to take chances. I'm glad I did! 81 hours later, I completed my journey aboard Talos 1, and what a journey it was!
Alien lifeforms known as the Typhon have breached containment aboard the space station, and they can mimic anything in the game, from toilet paper to office chairs. You may think you're alone in a room, and then turn around to discover that that coffee cup is actually an alien that wants to eat your face.
Very tense and exciting, and very underrated.

Really loving this game. Very tense, hard at times but not too hard. Almost every problem can solved in any number of ways depending on your spec. New safes or even areas open up if your Hacking is high enough for example. You could play the whole game like a normal FPS, taking only the skills in first 3 trees, but all the interesting powers come when you get access to the alien powers. It's all optional, encouraging you to experiment with specs in future playthroughs.

This game is pretty awesome for game enthusiast. But if you're more of simple gamer, then I would recommend moving past this game. This game, comes with the Pre-order content, but thats about as much of a bonus you have. Mechanics are awesome and story is intriguing but this is a pretty much sandbox-esque dead space, except without the graphic content.

This game is amazing. I have spent more hours than I care to admit playing it, and I'm still not close to beating it! The difficulty is high (even on easy), but it's never irritating. As a novice gamer, I appreciate that. If I have one complaint, it's that occasionally it's hard to figure out where you're going (especially when you're in space), which can lead to a bit more wandering around than I prefer, but it's a really fun game that I think anyone would enjoy.
