The strategy guide comes packed with in depth details of every aspect of the game and how it works. Frame rates of moves and counter strategies to all characters. Its not just telling you combos and command lists anymore, its like a calculus book for fighting games. Now keep in mind this is the first sttategy guide I have purchased since the early days of PSX so maybe its not amazing to you how much the details of this guide goes into as it is to me. This collectors edition comes with a very cool art print of Ken and Ryu. It also come with exclusive front cover artwork and a digital code to be able to view the guide from your mobile or computer devices. It requires a log in to be made at the website of the publisher but it is quite a simple process. Overall 4 out of 5 only because I wish the art work on the cover was a little less cheesy and a little more like the art print that came with it. The cover just seemed rushed and put together quickly.

Love this book inside and out from helpful tips and tricks to combos to the more intensive frame data having it right next to me when I need info is very convenient and the special art I have hung up right behind my monitor. A good guide for a fun game!

The quality of the guide is great, from the cover to the glossy pages everything is pretty slick. The content is good, though some things are curiously absent. For example there are no pictures of the alternate colors... no biggy but strange. Also because it is a first edition there are going to be a lot of changes in the coming years, which is why they included a digital version. Overall I'm happy with it, definitely try to get a price match. For $25 or so it is worth it.

It is pretty hard to get started with a new Street Fighter game, as the details change enough to require a new approach. This guide helped me transition from SF 4 and SFxTekken to SF V.

Frame data, basic combos, a dictionary of fighting game terms, concept art. Even if future patches will make this obsolete, it's still an extensive book. It even comes with a code for a free e-guide which does get updated with each new character we get.

Guide has all the moves and is a great add on for the game.

So I had the luxury of peeking at my buddies copy of this book but after reading it for minutes, I knew I would be buying a copy. I'm a sucker for physical over digital and so all this info is already online and with futures patches some info in the book might become obsolete, however, there's something special about a good guide book and that this is. Plus, my book came with an ebook copy as well with one years worth of updates. If you are a new player trying to get competitive buy the book. If you have any veteran status to the series, already acquainted to the mechanics, frame data, hit properties, etc. Then you can probably pass on the book.

Excellent strategy guide that is a must for Street Fighter enthusiasts. As an added bonus, you get online guide with free updates for 1 year.

When I first started to read this guide it looked overwhelming. But as I applied the concepts to the game it made sense. It is very in depth when describing things like moves and frames. Like with anything you learn you need to apply those skills in practicing which helped me.

Havnt played street fighter, now i remember why.. even though dis book shows the moves, i couldnt get most of em to work in game.

That's honestly it. Has a few tips but you could honestly find those on YouTube complete with video. So yea lol

This is a really great collector's piece, and any Street Fighter V fan would want this.

I purchased this strategy guide at 50% off and it was more than worth it. The book is hard cover with beautiful artwork and it gives detailed descriptions on pulling of different combos.

A hardbook cover with every detail such as all character strengths, moves and strategic use of frame rates equals the Street Fighter V guide to have.

It's good guide with great art but doesn't have the downloadable characters.
