Good basic toaster at a good price. Slots are only 5 inches long, so wide slices will stick out and require repositioning to toast evenly.

- Adjust setting to darkest, press down lever, repeat as needed until dry hard toast achieved.
- Push up lever yourself to check progress before each repeat. Toaster doesn't pop bread high enough to see or grab.

This is a good basic toaster. My first one lasted a few years before it stopped working. I replaced it with the same model. Both were on sale. It toasts both sides of the bread.
