Great movie, 4K looks crisp. Finally brought the series back to par.

Magnificent, love it. I have been following Alien from the beginning when it first came out, in the late 70’s. The new audience, that watching Alien now, I’m jealous, because one can watch the entire epics of this series, on a movie binge, without waiting for the next one to come out, in two or three years. I think the Aliens movie were classic, I have all of them in my Sci Fi collections. Now that I’ve seen them all, Prometheus, Prometheus Covenant, should be watch first, then the first Alien, Aliens, so fourth. For those who haven’t seen Alien, watch Alien, Aliens first, one would get into the movie a lot faster. It will make you wonder were the Hell did these things come from.

While this movie does set up a good premise and is a good prequel to Alien, to me, at least, it has one major story flaw. It has trouble connecting up with Alien. But if you can over look a major inconsistency in the ending, its still a fine sci-fi movie. Warning MAJOR SPOLIERS!: According to the story and extras, the crew of Prometheus was traveling to LV-223. So it would seem to make sense that the Engineer Ship crashes at the end, does not successfully go to Earth. Then it gets discovered by the crew of the Nostromo at the start of Alien. By then, the Alien Queen has grown, and so goes the story right? Except one problem, the place that Ripley and the rest of the Nostromo crew went to was LV-426 , which was close, but not actually LV-223. So how does the Queen on a damaged spaceship jump planets all of a sudden?
