This movie shouldn’t disappoint if you’re looking for a Rom-Com.

A cute romantic comedy that stars Sandra Bullock as a boss who blackmails her assistant played by Ryan Reynolds. She needs for him to pretend they are engaged to convince an immigration officer because she fears she may be deported back to Canada. A visit to stay at his family's home during this charade lends to many funny moments and a "happy ending!!"

I love the chemistry of the whole cast. Reynolds and Bullock are great together, but Reynolds family just made the movie perfect. The best one is Betty White as grandma. She knows how to deliver those suggestive lines that just cracks you up. And the town male stripper is too funny. This is a must see.

We first saw at theater. I sought this on Blu Ray for years before finding it available at BB. I do not know why it says 2 discs, we only got 1. Maybe the info was squeezed onto a single. We still thoroughly enjoy this comedic romp by these 2 main actors (plus, you get Betty White!)

Little hokey at times but the scenery was gorgeous and I like Ryan Reynolds and especially Betty White. Overall it was a pretty good movie.

A comedy classic, an essential film to have in your collection. I bought this film originally to celebrate one of my favorite roles of the late Betty White and I was reminded how good this film was.

I enjoyed the role Sandra Bullock played; tough boss who went out of her way to stay in the united states and then eventually falling in love with her subordinate. However, I think, I'm impartial to Sandra Bullock in any movie she's acted in. Love the scenery where part of the movie was shot, supposedly in Sikta, Alaska.

This by far my option one of the most life like picture that depicts a great number of us today. The loves of our lives/soul mates that either drifted away or we were to afraid to tell them we loved them. Also showing us that life is just not the same without them.

Watched this with my sweetheart and this turned out to be an awesome date night chick-flick with lot's of laughter, adorable characters, and some important lessons learned. It would be worth your time to watch in my opinion.

This was just an impulse buy. We were looking at car stereo stuff one day and decided to peruse the cheap movie section. My wife and I had seen this before and enjoyed it enough to pick it up for ten bucks. Also, we hadn't seen this streaming on netflix, and given the quality of their selection lately (pretty poor), we figured it wouldn't ever be there to stream, given us another reason to pick it up at this low price.

Awesome movie! This is one of my favorites, such a great cast! Always Makes me laugh and smile so I finally bought it. Can't go wrong with blu ray!

sandra and ryan have made an enjoyable comedy. She is his boss and talks him into faking marriage to stay in the united States. Then they fall in love.

Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock are at their best in this romantic comedy! There are lost of laughs and some really good supporting characters. This is a must have for your romantic comedy collection.

I did not realize I had not purchased this movie .I have watched it over and over on cable.This is one of the funniest appearances by Betty White you will see.Also,great chemistry between Ryan and Sandra.

The Proposal is a thoroughly enjoyable rom-com, with great performances from the whole cast. The blu-ray, however, is not perfect though and is quite patchy from a picture perspective, with the quality varying from shot to shot. This is somewhat offset by a solid audio track though. along with some outtakes, deleted scenes and audio commentary.
