The reason that I would not recommend this item for a beginner : it's not a ton of money, but if you crash it !!! well you know the deal. Protocol has the Dronium for about 149.99 and it flies pretty darn good. It can take a beating and then some. I currently have two of them (After one became logged in a 75' tree for 3 months). After a few rain storms it came down on its own and still worked as if it were new ( I let it dry out with drying pellets). Nevertheless, the "Galileo" Is awesome for it's price point. It functions well in low wind days*, the video/ fpv is great and the pics are clear ! The only draw back is the charging time compared to fight time, not good!! Moreover, I am still excited about this product and I sell a ton of them when they are in stock!! Owning this product helps with the sell every time

Pros: Powerful motors, about ten minutes fly time. Cons: Not the best camera, and don't go past 100ft. Or you'll lose control.

This is my first time to buy a drone. I've researched a lot and watch youtube but ofcourse I had to try the product first b4 I can write something. So, far as first timer and I am a female and know nothing about fixing toys. Galileo drone is so much easy for me and all you gotta do is read instructions. Drone Camera will only be connected if you turn ON your drone and turn your WIFI from your Phone then look for FPV then connect. Check your Galileo Apps then click Play and choose Video icon and you will see your drone vision hahaha it's awesome but ofcourse the quality of video is not superb. I knew it b4 I bought it coz I can always put a Go pro in it. Design wise is sexy the black and green combination. Charging time is 3 hrs. Fly time is 12 minutes. Inside the box has 4 extra propellers yey! There's also propeller guard included & very easy to install coz they include screw driver inside and things you needed. If the quality of camera would be good, I can give 5 stars. The price is reasonable, you can save the box for storage. Read the manual it should be there inside the box.

This is the perfect drone for someone learning to fly a drone. It's not extremely durable, but I haven't had any problems with it as long as it lands square or you don't run it into something. The unit does come with 4 replacement rotors. My biggest complaint is that the flight time is very short (7 minutes) and the recharge time for the battery is very long (200 minutes), my recommendation is to get a spare battery or 2. Other than that this thing is great for the money and learning. Definitely recommended for a beginner.

Product was received as a gift. Nice product for a first time, full-size drone. Camera leaves something to be desired. Video quality is subpar. Drone is easy to fly, but instructions are very limited. Would like to have the ability to replace camera with a GoPro.

We bought this for my brother for his bday. He had trouble learning to fly iron the dark. He finally got it up and flying. It flew away. He crashed it. We lost it. We found it. It still worked. Good times.

My son is a farmer who raises cattle, and he always gets something 'useful' for Christmas. I couldn’t stand it this year and wanted to get him something fun. So I got this drone for him to play with. Besides the fun he has had flying it, he can use it to fly over his acreage and check his cows, look for fence breaks, etc. I like that he can pair it with his Ipad or phone and see what is happening in real time. I did buy two extra batteries, as flight time is under 15 minutes, but it was worth the expense. This was a great purchase!

This item is great for the price. Battery life is not great but sufficient. Propeller guards are not very durable but replacements can be purchased. Fun toy and easy to learn to fly.

WOULD PREFER BETTER CAMERA,LONGER BATTERY LIFE. IT WOUILD BE BETTER IF THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR OPERATING CAME WITH A VISUAL TUTORIAL

Hard to fly will not hover straight . Tried trimming it out still won't fly straight. Battery does not last long

I bought this drone as a beginner, learn to fly gift. The fly time is very minimal as expected but it has been fun. Charge time is excessive too. We ended up giving this to our son and buying a professional-grade drone.

I love how easy it is to fly. I started out flying the cheaper branded ones and it seemed to much trouble to maintain and steer them. The only issue i have is the camera. Its like an old web can resolution but i knew that before buying.

This drone is full of fun. The only down side is that you have to charge the drone for 222 minutes to fly it for 7 minutes. No where on the reviews did it mention the short battery life. Great starter drone.

It is pretty easy to control once you get the hang of it but sometimes it would come down so fast and crash. Broke it within 2 weeks. Looking for a better made one for my next drone

This drone is powerful, i.e. it flies high, but difficult to control. With no visual indication of which side is the front, it is very easy to lose control of this helicopter/drone.

This was a powerful drone. Difficult to control when high in air. Problem with the Apple App not available and replacement parts not available

so first reaction was looks awesome but it flew great the first few times then it seemed to not go up very high less and less every time i flew it.then it lost control and was only about 50' away crashed on a nearby road and legs broke propellers chipped up i tried to fly it again and it wont lift off the ground its basically a 250.00 piece of junk I am very disappointed in this product i expected better quality from best buy i bought all new propellers and legs and still wont lift off the ground would not recommend to anyone

Hard at first to get used to but will work out the kinks once trim is set properly

Meh, its cool but just wish it had a longer batter life. 7-12min is not nearly long enough, heck you are just getting started!
