This is perfect for novices like myself. Basic to intermediate functions. Really easy to pair and calibrate. Camera quality is good. Easy to control.

Got it for an excellent price during the holiday season for my husband and he loves it. Ease of use is very apparent without a lot of extraneous setup required other than the ap. He was also impressed by its ability to “follow” and also that it defaults to a hover state so the likelihood of user related crashes (as had happened before with previous drone products) is reduced greatly. Battery takes a bit to charge and as while not ideal for extended use he is very happy with it.

Hard to pair. It’s needs a memory card to capture photo and video. Easy of use and quality is nice. One button back home is cool.

Open box , charge the batteries, and read the instructions. If you actually follow the instructions and calibrate the drone properly, it works awesome. The camera quality is true 720p and it doesn't disappoint. I use it with a galaxy S8 and flies 10/10 .. got it on " deal of the day " sale price so , I'm very please with it. So don't get discouraged from the bad reviews on here :( its truly an awesome drone :) I.B.

Have had this for 7 months and have barely been able to use it. It is very hard to get connected to tablet or phone and looses signal quickly. It also is very effected bay even the lightest wind. I gave it 3 stars because when I got it to work the settings it has work great.

Light weight yet hold well with GPS. Easy to setup and get flying safely.

It controls very well. The camera is clear and love the features.

This drone is easy to use and is great for beginners to learn with. I would much rather loose or break a cheaper drone while learning how to operate one. The batteries don’t last very long but I’d suggest ordering an extra battery or two.

Is anybody having trouble flying it or not even that just Calibration the compass if so what can I do to get it right I fallow the direction and everything no luck still but not a bad drone for a first timer

It flies nicely. Just a little hard to get it connect to the controller.

The price was right and the opportunity to buy it was now. I was waiting to get one and came across this deal of the day.

I've had several occasions of loss of connection and it flies away. Some times on take off it will fly straight up to 50 or 60 feet before I can regain control. Make sure you fly in an open area!

This drone was very appealing online and the price was great. Unfortunately, it became quite apparent throughout the preset-up that it was not novice friendly. Furthermore, the WiFi would not connect, only adding to frustration and disappointment.

The website said I was getting vr goggles. When I got the drone no goggles. Apparently the clearance set came with them, not the one i purchased?? Because that makes sense....not what I payed for, and as soon as my husband used it, it flew off uncotrolably and crashed into the side of the house. Not worth the money, never got a call back from Best Buy customer service after I was on the phone with them for an hour and a half. Not a happy customer, will not purchase drones from you again.

Right gift for the right price. Will make our boys Christmas so much fun.

When we bought this it was on sale. So far no issues with the drone.

First, I was disappointed that this didn’t ship in a plain brown box. My husband saw this on the porch and knew what his Christmas gift was lol Second, FedEX seriously mishandled the box and there was a hole smashed into the box...I know this isn’t the manufacturer or Best Buy’s fault, but it was so loosely packaged with no protective plastic or styrofoam that I’m shocked the drone wasn’t damaged upon arrival. The packaging could be more protective. Third, it’s only been on one flight, and I stead of hovering like that manual said it would, it took off and wouldn’t stop ascending. My husband tried to home it, but it went in whatever direction it wanted to and kept climbing until it got stuck in a tree. We did manage to get it back down after a few days of constant attempts...but we’re scared to take it out on a second flight! I will say I have it a star above 1 because this thing is a tank. It managed to escape damage during shipping, and it didn’t get damaged when it fell out of a 50 ft tree. It also didn’t get water damage after 3 days of being left in the rain while in the tree! For those reasons I’m impressed but very reluctant to recommend to anybody.

Fun to play with. Really susceptible to wind. Worked even after a few crashes. I doing think it could hold a camera’s weight.
