Alfred Hitchcock's 1960 epic about "mommy's boy," Norman Bates is archived on awesome Best Buy Exclusive Steelbook with minimalist, simplistic art design/packaging. This film is 1 of the all-time horror classics, very loosely based on real life serial killer Ed Gein,which in turn inspired another horror classic, 1974's "Texas Chainsaw Massacre." "Psycho" is one chilling reason to be afraid of taking a shower.

Shipping was quick. The movie is of course a classic Hitchcock film and never disappoints.

Great steel book looks great in 4k having the original version of the film makes this a must buy

The Red 'Alfred Hitchcock's PSYCHO' lettering probably wasn't even necessary. The Native 4K Video and DTS-X Audio are first rate. This is the Only Way to Purchase Psycho 4K Separately but is also available as part of 'The Alfred Hitchcock Classics Collection'

What a film. What a steelbook. What a remastering. Truly. This is beautiful. Hitchcock had a vision which was laid out and displayed almost without flaw whatsoever. Enjoy this film. Don’t fight it.

The must have version of Psycho. Looks excellent in 4K, and the packaging is top-notch.

Of course, this is an all-time great Hitchcock horror classic but I liked the additional high definition and the steel case packaging, and got this limited edition at a price better than on Amazon.

Classic Hitchcock horror/suspense film gets an upgrade. I first saw this around age 10 and it stuck with me ever since. Dark humor, a great lead performance by Anthony Perkins and one of the most influential scenes in a horror movie(ANY MOVIE actually) make this a must own. It looks and sounds better than ever

Hitchcock's Psycho is a suspenseful thriller that has influenced almost all horror movies that came after it ! One of Hitchcock's best ! A must own movie for every collection !

Psycho is one of those movies that is timeless and can be rewatched as much as you want. Hitchcock crafted the movie beautifully and you'll notice something new every time you watch it

This is a very classic and good horror movie and it’s great in 4k.

This transfer of Psycho is amazing. The best it’s ever looked (a little darker in tent than previous releases but it’s ok). I love how the film grain is still very much present; the grittiness hasn’t been removed. So the feel of the film remains. The sound is unlike any other release! I’m not a slasher film fan at all-and I don’t see Psycho as a slasher film. I see the masterpiece as a thriller, suspense and full of twist and turns. It’s not all about Norm and his mom; it’s much more than that. The movie does have the edgy shower scene everyone focuses on-I could do without it personally-the film is much more than that scene. I’m a Alfred Hitchcock fan all the way. His technic of film u can’t beat As for the packaging of the 4k! It’s the only way to go with the 60th anniversary here. This Steelbook is a beauty and hopefully, I’ll be able to grab all the Hitchcock Steelbook releases.

Psycho has already been released in the 4K format before in another steelbook. That could have used some better artwork in my opinion. It was mostly black and had a knife on the front with Janet Leigh's picture in it. That was about it. There was also another steelbook for the standard blu-ray release some years ago, pinkish in color and was pretty plain. I like this one very much, even on the inside of it. It is fabulous. Overall, this is a great one to own, if you don't own one of them already. If you are a die hard fan of this movie, I say, get it anyway. Pictures are in listing for purchase. All content is pretty much the same from the other 4K release. If you have not seen it on 4K, you owe it to yourself to do it. It is cleaned up even more from the previous Blu-ray release that has been out for years. Detail is much better on the 4K equipment. Highly recommended.

The movie looked amazing in 4K and the audio quality was great!

A film ahead of its time, Hitchcock delivers a masterpiece as he is the master of suspense! The score is frightening as it only uses string instruments.
