Universal is famous for their movie monsters - Dracula, Frankenstein, The Creature, Invisible Man, Mummy, Phantom and Wolf Man, but they also have some unofficial monsters, and one of them is rather human... Norman Bates. Anthony Perkins, if not under the watchful eye of Hitchcock himself, still would've made this movie work. He's that good. You sympathize with this guy, despite what he does. Thankfully, it's not just a movie with a single stand-out performance: every actor is good, and the visuals are excellent, thanks to the director himself. If you've never seen it, or even if you know the ending, watch it anyway. It still works.

One the best horror films I’ve ever seen. I thought about returning it but when I saw it, I absolutely loved it.

What more can be said about this classic film? You know it, you love it, and this is the best it has ever looked on home video, or maybe ever! It has been remastered to the best picture quality possible, and the sound is nice and clear. Not only that, this version has been restored to its original theatrical release (all home video versions were slightly edited in the shower scene), so this is the first time in decades that this version has been available!

Finally, the definitive, restored director's cut of Psycho! It took long enough but it's well worth the wait. Beautiful quality and sleek, sturdy and simple packaging.

Horror Classic, definitely a gateway for later slashers, and even an inspiration to may directors to this day!

One of my favorite movies finally uncut for the first time since 1960. It looks excellent in 4k. The sharpest presentation ever. I highly recommend this version.

Saw this for the first time and I was hooked! Such a good suspenseful movie. Steel book came in excellent condition and the movie looks great on my LG CX!

This recently released steelbook for Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho looks great, and so does the transfer. Great video, and audio quality. I recommend you buy it.

Great picture quality. New DTS X track is good too. Original uncut version. Mono track is not correct...studio supposed to offer replacement discs...

Looks great and natural picture throughout. Love this film... Unrated version doesn't do much in terms of story but a great load of features nonetheless!

The 4k for older film like Psycho has proven to be the best use of 4K so far, it really brings to life older films and this one is no exception.

The picture quality on this classic has been restored to perfection! The Hdr brings out the haunting tones of this amazing Hitchcock slow burn!

This is one of the scariest movies of all time who can forget Norman Bates and Janet Leigh's performance shower scene and on film in black and white, the scene lasts only seconds where in real life the scene was shot hundreds of times no kidding, of the many reviews I read that alone would scare the dickens out of me the rest of my life. It did Janet Leigh never the rest of her life trusted shower curtains ever who can blame her.

What a classic horror movie from the 1960s. The SteelBook is pretty amazing. Pick up this SteelBook before it sells out at Best Buy.

Classic film making, one of my favorites glad to see the 4k transition

Psycho is a classic horror movie and now its on 4k has a matte finished to it and has a nice cover and it also has a digital code

This movie is a classic and is one of my favorites so I'm so glad its out on 4K Blu-ray. This steelbook does have the tendency to get cover in finger prints but they wipe off. Also I wish it came with the clear plastic slipcovers that other new steelbook releases have come with. But other then that its an amazing product!

I already had this on standard bluray. The original mono track and uncut version made this upgrade worth it!
