These are surprisingly a great alternative or backup mic system for medium sized banquet rooms. But also hold up very well out doors. I have been complimented a few times on the sound quality by officiants and performers. Premium sound quality and if there's not too many obstructions in the way you will get virtually no drop outs. They perform way better than I expected and I still use them in the right settings... Keep in mind that I typically use shure wireless mics and I still choose this system in some settings.

I am a wedding and special events DJ and although I did upgrade to the Shure Wireless Mics I've used these during ceremonies and receptions. They worked very well. You just how to set them and know the range that you're working in. They're very clear with no popping or dropping. I think they're great indoor or outdoor for up to a few hundred feet. Beyond that I use my SHURE mics. So if you're looking to get some great mics on a budget. I would recommend this product. Just make sure that it's UHF not VHF. I would give 5 stars if the range was further. But still excellent buy.
