The story and cinematic of the game is great, they even made real person story episodes for each chapter - one for both path! Each chapter you have two choices to make, and depends on the choice you make, the game will play a different episode. Though the game + the cinematics are about 120GB size, so watch your hard drive space. Game play on the other hand, is kind of weak, there's not a lot of combat, with really limited weapon choices, only a few enemy types and your time control ability feels better when solving puzzles. It's some what like mixed Uncharted shooting and Infamous second son super power together, but much weaker on both aspect. If you like good story telling with cinematic, I would recommend this game, it's very well done on those part, but if you are aiming game play, I would say skip it.

I have only played a little past the first act, and then had to watch a 22 minute live action tv show to continue the story. Very interesting, but also means you need to have time in hand to play through the game and watch the show. The game itself is fun to play and the tv show was enjoyable thus far. Look forward to playing/watching more.

The game itself is fun to play, I really enjoyed how after each act there was a full 22-minute episode. Unfortunately, the gameplay gets stale pretty fast and the story is really short and there's not a lot of replay value.

If your were waiting for another xbox exclusive then look do further. This game has it all action great story and the acting from a lot of familiar faces. Harness your time stopping ability in this action pack xbox one exclusive.

Time travel is well done and different twist on standard video game first person shooters. Transition between cut scenes and actual game is best I've seen. Story is interesting and long video segments are well worth watching.

I loved everything about this game... the story, the grapics, the game-play... and the TV show! Also, the TV show will vary, depending upon what decisions you made while playing the game, so it has great re-play value! Some great acting & casting in the streaming episodes, I wished they would turn it into a real series!!!

QB is game that I went into not knowing what to expect. As far as next gen games go, there really hasn't been that one game that is different from the rest. QB tries hard to be that game, at times succeeding, but other times falling into the same traps of the average game. The different time mechanics that are presented in the game are a breath of fresh air, however the gun play leaves something to be desired. Another thing Remedy does well is the incorporation of a TV show after each chapter. As we gamers know all to well, these kind of live action things tend to be a disaster, but they pulled it off perfect in my mind. Yea some writing could be better etc, but the same could be said of any TV show. We need developers to take more risks like this to keep gaming fresh.

So far, the story telling is on point. I cannot wait to continue practicing time travel powers. Also, the concept of your actions affecting the way the story comes out is one I enjoy. This is seen through the game that you play and the show that you watch (which is awesome to see a live show incorporated into a video game).

Game made by the people who made Alan Wake. Greattach gameplay and a somewhat interesting story although it's a bit scattered. Integrating a TV series between acts is a good concept that isn't delivered in a great way.

One of the best games visually you can play. The story is awesome as well. Only knock are the puzzles are fairly easy and the game can be completed rather quickly 6-8 hours. For the $$$ I would rather spend a little more time with a game that has no replay ability. But I would def rec for the visual and story aspects.

This was a pretty good game from the makers of one of the best Xbox360 games Alan Wake - the gameplay was good but the live cutscenes lasted a little too long

Really solid game. Story line is great, graphics are awesome, game play is really good !! What else you can ask? Multiplayer. Yeah, the only reason i don't give 5 stars its because there is no multiplayer

Game is a bit short and linear, but the visuals are incredible and the game play is fun all the way through. I could this being a game I play only a few times through to hunt down achievements etc and then it will collect dust. But if you are itching for a fun and unique shooter you can't go wrong. 5/7

So the main cool part about this game is all of the live-action sequences, of which there are 3 or 4, and each is around 22 minutes long. The gameplay was cool, but very repetitive, and didn't continually increase the challenge. I did enjoy the tory, but would have rather seen a full-on TV show. That being said, props to them for trying an experiment mixing media. The story is very cool, especially if you find all of the hidden notes and such throughout the game. One final note, the final fight is incredibly frustrating. Not because it is hard, but it is hard to tell what is even going on. The last fight is the only part of the game where I died much at all. Certainly a good buy once the price drops some.

I'm a huge fan of Remedy. Max Payne was great and Alan Wake was maybe my favorite game of the last generation. So hopes were high for Quantum Break, and for the most part, it delivers. The bold choice here is to bookend the game with extended live action scenes. I was worried this would devolve into Kojima-level grandiosity but for the most part the live action sequences are tightly paced and enjoyable. The gameplay is good, but the issue is that you get so many powers so quickly and upgrades make so little practical difference that there doesn't feel like there's a lot of progression past the first few levels. Still, excellent production values and a novel concept make for a game that is sure to entertain.

The standard Remedy level of polish applies here. The game runs well, looks very pretty, and has few bugs (if any). You can tell they really put their heart into their work. Great game, pretty interesting story. I am liking it enough to play through it again (I never do that). Recommended .

Amazing graphics and story!! I've waited years to play this game and am happy that it finally released. If you're a fan of Remedy games, then you will surely enjoy this one. Plus it comes with Alan Wake and all of the DLC!!!! This is a huge selling point for Microsoft. Worth every penny!!!

This game is unique, in that it has a sort-of Choose Your Own Adventure style of storytelling. Also the abilities that are unlocked as you progress are really fun.
