I have been using Quicken for years and really like it. I am forced to purchase a new version every 3 years so that I can continue to download transactions from my bank, one of the main features I use. This time, I had to buy a 1 year subscription, no CD option so I will have to pay each year to use this program. I would give this software 5 stars except for that.

I purchase this program every 2 years. I would have give the product 5 stars if Quicken did not decrease from 2-5 years when I originally purchased this program to every year. The program really does not change, which I like. But Quicken got greedy and forces you to purchase a new disc yearly. Shame on them. Now for Best Buy - Yippee. They gave a discount of 50% so it was so affordable, I could not pass it by - and I used a coupon, so I got a new disc for almost nothing. Thank you Best Buy, I will continue to purchase the program for managing my little business. When tax time comes, I just pull the numbers and fill in the blanks.

I've been a longtime Quicken User. I've recommended it to many friends over the years as a way to view all your finances in one place. It hasn't been perfect, there are a few banks that don't synchronize nicely with Quicken. Fitting my budgeting preferences into Quicken hasn't been easy either. I like to pay certain bills annually instead of monthly and Quicken historically hasn't done a good job letting me know I'm over/under budget when it comes to those items. Previously, I didn't really mind when I had to purchase Quicken every 3 years. But last year they switched to an annual subscription without significantly dropping the price and that has rubbed me the wrong way. Quicken 2019 hasn't brought me any 'gotta have' features. Over the next 12 months, I'll probably take a hard look at some of the competitive products that are offered for free online. I still would recommend to friends trying to get a clearer picture of their finances, but only if they can find a great purchase price.

Had to upgrade because I was using Quicken 2016 and was unable to download stock transactions anymore. Had to manually remove Quicken 2016 but otherwise the upgrade went smoothly. It looks a little different but I've haven't seen any changes from the 2016 version.

I have used Quicken since it first came on the market. I used it for a check book register for various bank acts. Loved the ability to balance my checkbook. Then the program added more functions that weren’t things that I would use. When these additional items were added the price rose and the checkbook balance functions changed. Now there is a yearly fee to use the program. Now I don’t use. Wish Quicken would offer a personal checkbook balance program without all the extra info and investment stuff.

Quicken is very helpful, helps keep you on track with all your monthly bill with reminders and helps plan a head so you don't over draft. The software is easy to set up even if you're new to it, it doesn't have all banks in their system but it does have a pretty good list of banks. I gave it a four cause there are times when the software lags, kind of freezes and you have to wait for it to catch up when working on multiple accounts (my computer is up to date, play many online games with out an issue).

Product still does the job. Same ole product year after year. I used to purchase Q every 3 years for the automatic downloads/reconciliation functionality and now with this new subscription service, I am frowning. Once another product comes along that reconciles on a as need basis, I will probably change

I have not had the opportunity to use this yet, but I did look at it and it's going to be quite different then what I'm used to but it will be nice for an update since I have not had that since 2009. I only use it for the purpose of the register of a checking account and it keeps me balanced. I'm hopeful that I will be able to budget better with this new upload.

I am a long time user of Quicken and upgraded to this version from the 2016 version. So far I have been pleased with the software and its ease of use. The upgrade was very clean. I do not use the online capabilities such as bank downloads etc. but this is my own choosing. I just don't feel comfortable with that level of exposure on the internet. All in all I am pleased with this product and use it quite often.

I've been using Quicken for 20 years and found it to be very useful and effective. It's the best I've ever owned and almost the only one. My only problems are the high cost and trying to figure out how to manipulate the software to carry some unusual transactions companies occasionally do.

I have been using Quicken for my check book needs since 2015 or so. Its very easy to use and the features are getting better with every updated version that comes out.

I have used Quicken for over a decade; first on Windows and then in recent years on the Mac. While this version is much better than the last Mac version, I have no idea why they can't make it as user friendly as the Windows version? I use it so its not terrible; I just think it could be so much better.

I have been using Quicken as a stand alone program for years to simplify my finances. The last program was the 2016 version. I had to upgrade as they are phasing out support for this version. The new version is a yearly subscription. The one good thing is that it is updated regularly. Unfortunately you have to pay the yearly subscription fee. My only complaint is that when updating the data from my financial institution It will only update the day after a true business day. Currently I do not get updates on Sunday and Monday. The first update is Tuesday. If the bank is closed on a Monday Quicken will not update until Wednesday. All in all, it works well.

I've been using Quicken for several years now, and this may end up being my last Quicken upgrade. The newer version feel stripped down and less intuitive than prior versions. With all of the other options currently on the market, I don't think Quicken is standing out in many ways for the price.

I was pleased to find all my old data from the 2010 Version transfer in well, and it has not been too difficult to adjust to.

I've been using Quicken since their DOS version. Love it! It is a wonderful product to keep track of all my bank accounts and credit card accounts. I gave it a 4 star rating because it is now a subscription product and I am not a fan of that.

We had a really old version of Quicken and needed to upgrade. We had to import our old files into another version of Quicken then into the newer version. It all worked very well considering the age of the prior version. We had put off upgrading for way too long!

This program was so easy to download and install. I have been using Quicken for over 25 years and love the new updates.

We have used Quiken since 2000 and it is easy to use and offers excellent results in tracking financial information.

Only complaint I have with Quicken now is that you have to renew a subscription. I really wish if they were going to do that they would GREATLY reduce the price for the software.
