Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mickey Rooney is good as a ‘simple guy’ who gets involved with the wrong girl. He "borrows" $20 from the company’s cash register for a date with the femme fatale (Jean Cagney) and ends up in a series of disasters that threaten to ruin his entire life! The movie is suspenseful but the ending was a little odd. Overall a great film noir. And Peter Lorre is always Perfect in every character he portrays.
