A solid R-Type game but better as a 20 dollar game

I had the game crash twice on the final stage losing 3-4 hours of gameplay before finally beating it. Aside from that the game is a little too cramped and zoomed in. Bosses are a little generic. Overall I enjoyed unlocking new ships and learning the game.

Thankfully, this game has a legacy and has been around for 20-25+ years I think. To top it off, it includes some nice bonuses in this "Inaugural Flight Edition."

Best Buy price matched and got it for a very good price. The game is a bit difficult for new players but you’ll get the hang of it fast. Highly recommend this one.

Very difficult game, but, with practice and patience it is manageable. Don’t remember if it’s in the description or not, but game comes with CD soundtrack and art book.
