Awesome to find with the slipcover at a great price at Best Buy.

Horror Classis loaded with extras. It's a good time to be a horror fan.

David Cronenberg made his reputation on "body horror." His early films are disturbing. I always liked that Cronenberg kept me off balance. This Blue-ray has great extras. Marilyn Chambers is terrific. "Rabid" is weird take on vampirism. If you are a fan of Cronenberg's later films like "The Fly" or "Dead Ringers" then check out his early work. I hope "Maps to the Stars" isn't his last film. I liked it. "Rabid" is horror, but it's also imaginative.

It was alright... I was expecting a full blown zombie apocalypse but it wasn’t even close to that. The movie is still interesting to watch but don’t get your hopes high for massive violence and action. One thing that I did like about this is that if something like this were to happen in real life, how it be deal with and the panic it’ll cause is shown perfectly In this.

Only Cronenberg's second film but all the elements from the latter half of his career are evident. Fans of Cronenberg and his style of body-horror will find many aspects to like even through some of the amateurish characteristics.

I think this Shout blu-ray release looks pretty darn good for a low budget film from 1977. I see complaints on the internet about it not having that contrasty "grindhouse" look like the Arrow release. Whatever, if you like Rabid I'd say get the Shout version now and just enjoy the movie.

One of my favorite Cronenberg 'zombie' type flicks finally gets a worthy U.S. blu-ray release with stellar picture and new audio commentary and interview extras. Shout Factory is killing it with these collector's editions. I love it!

This was a classic 70s David Cronenberg Zombie movie released in high definition restored video on this new Blu Ray disc. Movie is entertaining and gives a good grindhouse slice of cinema from the 70s.

It makes sense Cronenberg would make a zombie film at some point. This just after Dawn of the Dead release. Showed Cronenberg stretching the body horror muscles, that would define his horror career.

Not much to say about the film, you either know it and love it or you don't. Had to grab this collector's edition for all the cool extra features. Plus at $14.99, it's the best price anywhere.

I am a huge fan of David Cronenbergs early stuff and this is my second fave after Scanners. if you like auteur horror then definitely check out early Cronenberg.

They don’t make horror films as good as David Croneberg. This is one of his best! He knows how to get inside your head and stay there.

Looks fantastic and Scream Factory did an amazing transfer on this. Minor grain here and there but looks great. As for the movie, it was okay.

Saw this at Best Buy for a lower price than most online retailers and snagged it. An early Cronenberg feature worth picking up!
