The Best smart sprinkler system out there! Hands Down!

This is a great way to control your watering if flexibility is needed. I replaced a standard Rainbird controller becasue I wanted to have a watering schedule and then be able to customize a second day only using one zone. The Rachio gives the user complete flexibility. Installation was easy. I took a photo of my previous configuration and copied it to the Rachio. Everything worked. Configuring took more time than I thought but I didn't follow the directions. I tried to connect with my iPhone and the directions clearly tell you to use the app once the second light starts to blink. Once I figured it out, the device was linked to my account. I love that it connects to local weather adjusting watering based on climate changes, season and weather. If you don't have a rain sensor, this will adjust without one. You can take pictures of the zones and link them so you can see what you are programming to water. You can configure sun exposure, grass and soil type as well as landscaping. The system will automatically configure times based on You can run on demand and it easily configures with Amazon Alexa. Love it. The only thing I don't like about it is to run manually, you need to remove the cover. I wish the buttons were exposed or accessed easier. However, you can run everything on the phone and won't likely need to run manually too often. Price is another drawback. I love this controller and like the flexibility it gives you. You can shut the system off remotely as well. This controller provided the most features and user friendly application.

Skips the schedule even if it doesn't rain. Not recommended.

I have been using this controller for a few months now, and absolutely love it! It has saved me from watering based on the forecast feature, so it will not run the zone's if rain is predicted. If the forecast is wrong, I just run my zones the next day via the app, and it's really easy and flexible that way. Since you can start your zone's from anywhere (like when I remember from work). Huge upgrade from my old Hunter controller. Water smarter and use less.

I totally love how I can control this irrigation controller from my phone. Makes things so convenient. It auto adjusts itself based on weather conditions and seasonal changes. The only issue I have is that the adapter is a on the bulky side especially when being plugged into an outdoor outlet. This is my only issue with it but I really wish they could address it.

This was super easy to connect to WiFi and set up. The app makes setting up zones easy as well. I really like the detailed control you have. I was able to find a weather station that is one mile from my house. This should help with the accuracy in what the weather is doing. I am hoping to more accurately water my lawn, saving water.

We had just installed the unit, which was a piece of cake btw, when only a week later hurricane Harvey blew into Houston area. Needless to say, no need for watering for quite a while. Well Tuesday rolls around which is one of our permitted watering days. Mind you, there's still some standing water in some of the streets from Sunday and Monday flooding, when I suddenly ask my husband if it's raining AGAIN! Nope, sprinklers had come on. For a second I thought the Rachio was possessed because I thought I had read it wouldn't work without wifi. Then I realized, yes, it WILL work with only electric, apparently it WILL remember its settings, BUT it can't get any weather updates, such as, "we just had 30" of rain and DON'T NEED NO MO"! I had to unplug the unit to get it to stop going to 31" of water since the app can't work without wifi. INSTALLATION TIP: When installing, you need to strip the wires more than you think to get them to push far enough into the holes so they can be secured.

Easy set up and it is nice I can control my sprinkler system from anywhere. Love this product! My coworker and father in law both bought it after I bought it and they love it.

Excellent product to further home automation. Installation was easy and the app is very intuitive.
