This game is based a little on time travel so you are often going back and forth through time to find items. Has a great story and wonderful graphics and game play.

While I have yet to crack into this version of the game, which from what I've read isn't too different from it's first release, Radiant Historia remains one of my top RPGs of recent years. Excellent storytelling, fun battle system, down to earth characters and an excellent soundtrack. I can't wait to start over again. The launch edition goodies are nice, but no sample CD feels like a missed opportunity.

I had tons of fun with this game. It has a great story and the combat is fairly unique. It also has a mode where you won't have to grind as much if you just want to enjoy the story.

This game is mainly worth it to enjoy the excellent story. There is a mode in the game that allows you to play through on a lower encounter frequency to focus on the story.

A remade version of the DS game. Very colorful, with great voice acting. Good combat system, and a well told story. Definitely recommend for fans of deep JRPGs.

The DS had a remarkable library of JRPG's. Radiant Historia, now ported for the 3ds, was one of the best on that list. There's not much incentive to get it if you played it on the 3ds, except for some minimal enhancements they did to the graphics. If you haven't then I wouldn't pass on it. Get it before it's hard to find.

It was almost a shame that this had a small print run on the DS and therefore so many people missed out on it. Being ported and updated to the 3DS like this massively expanded its availability. The new cutscenes look very good and the gameplay remains as solid as ever. If you like Atlus games, and like RPGs, don't miss this a second time!

This game is an improved version of this game for the DS. These improves make an already enjoyable game become even more enjoyable but giving you the option to streamline battles.I definitely would encourage anyone who likes RPGs to try out this game.

I had heard great things about this game and was very close to getting the DS version, but I'm so glad that I walked into Best Buy and saw it there. I have the collectors version and it was great. The game is really good, too!

A great RPG by one of the industry's best (Atlus). It's very nice that the Launch Edition comes with extras (art book and decals in a dvd sized box) while costing the same as the average 3DS game. The decals are of decent size. The art book isn't hard covered, instead it's that type where if the cover is opened too far it'll stay open. The illustrations are wonderful. The book details the characters and settings and is 38 pages long.

The story in this game pulls you in right away. The characters immediately make you worry for their safety. The fighting has some refreshing tactics, such as telling you to push enemies together so that you can attack them at once.

This has turned into quite a great series on the DS and 3DS. Gives you a great chance to use the stylus for creating your own dungeon maps. The story and action are great. Big game with lots to do. The 3DS is the little RPG machine that does!

I'm not 100% sure this remake needed to happen, nor do I necessarily think that anyone who still owns their original copy needs to pick this up, but the stuff they added didn't bother me and it had been just long enough since that came out that there was value in replaying this story for me. That said, there was even more backtracking and redoing in this game than I remembered. Not necessarily grinding, as such, and it's a *bit* better in this version than the original, which is good, but still, if I have to say one bad thing against this game that's it. Otherwise there's the usual "time travel lol" caveat which not even the best writers in the world can do anything about so there we are.
