For decades I have heard mixed reviews about this film. Friends and critics either thought it was hysterical, or it was stupid. I agree with both statements. This movie is hysterical because it is stupid, which is not an accident. Not all stupid movies are funny. The premise, the characters, and the dialogue are all purposely outrageous making this over-the-top melodrama a first rate comedy. Even though I watched it almost three decades too late, it was still one of the funniest comedies I have ever seen.

This is one of those movies which you need to be a little older than fully get its message. It i a film about life and how sometimes we want more than we can handle. A lot of people don't like this film, but that's because they don't get it. This is one of the finest movies of the '80s and it is one of the Coen Brothers best pictures.

Money always never matter even though a lot of people is having a hard time to believe it... Just like my husband he doesn’t care about money because he said it’s just a paper and just an accessories of people... highly recommended to all the people who wants to know how love work in its mysterious ways...

Raising Arizona is the only movie I ever wanted to see again immediately after I saw it in the theater. Nicolas Cage is a terrific hangdog semi-loser, and he delivers the Coens' sly dialog perfectly. I think Raising Arizona is better than The Big Lebowski and Fargo in its language and visuals.Think of Napoleon Dynamite crossed with Bonnie and Clyde. You will thank me for my recommendation!

One my favorite comedies. There is not much funny today but the Coen bothers & the cast, Nicholas Cage, Holly Hunter & the rest the rest hit the nail on the head. I have enjoyed all of the Coen brothers films beginning with Blood Simple (unfunny). I hope they are still active,

I’ve loved this movie forever. Nicolaus Cage’s better performances. Holly Hunter making a negative choice despite being one of the good guys was a nice choice. Randall Tex Cobb as a bounty hunter was nuts! Plus John Goodman as a prison escapee-priceless! Excellent popcorn movie!

The Cohen brothers most underrated film! I’m a huge fan of the duo while this isn’t my favorite of their works ( Fargo is the best in my opinion) but it is still great. Nic cage is excellent in this film so is everyone else. Raising Arizona is a wild and wacky ride that I would recommend to anyone

One of the only Nicholas Cage movies I can stand watching, but my goodness does he deliver. The whole cast is great, it's shot beautifully and I found myself laughing out loud. It's quirky to the max, dark, heartfelt and funny. Belongs in every movie collection.

Grew up watching this movie and still enjoy watching it to this day! Love that it is on blu ray now and higher quality albeit just as cheesy as it has always been. Great movie to watch though!

Great movie great price and was able to find it easily on Best Buy’s website and was able to pick it up from the comfort of my car.

Good transfer and rich colors for this fantastic comedy! The colors can be admired when Nicholas Cage is in the nursery as the blue carpet hits your eye with such vividness. The inclusion of a 'making of' or a small featurette would made this blu-ray an even better buy. Still a great movie for 8 dollars!

This is a older movie that I had previously seen, but my wife had not and I was delighted when I was able to purchase it from BestBuy at a good price so my wife and I can watch it anytime we want.

Nicolas Cage, Holly Hunter and John Goodman are great in this crime ridden comedy. Love that it is only 93 minutes---perfect for my attention span and funny stupid from these wonderful actors!

I watched this years ago and enjoyed it so since it was discounted I decided to buy...it is still funny and the boys were laughing through most of it and wanted to watch it again. Cute movie!

A female police officer and criminal fall in love and get married. She can’t have a baby, so they steal one. Very funny movie with great acting. Many situations to weasel out of.
