Adequate noise canceling, comfort, and function.

Decent noise cancelling and comfort from ear pads. Fabric pads makes it much softer than some leather ones for over-ear headphones which is relevant to me since I have 1/2” gauges. Dial on left side for volume control is nice. Wish the mute button was in-line or had a better indicator when enabled/disabled. Cable is relatively short compared to other headsets I’ve had by same manufacturer. So much so that I feel it’s a detriment to the overall product. Mic is functional but nothing special good or bad to it.

Sounds stinks (defective I think will return them)

I'm giving them 3 stars just based off of other reviews. Me personally I'll be returning them on my PS5 there is little to no volume and ZERO bass. On my Series X they get a little bit louder but still no base. The volume knob is probably broke to because after halfway mark the volume is all the way off. So I'm essentially losing half my audio. Now on the positives these are HANDS DOWN the most comfortable set of headphones on the planet bar none. I like the simple look of them to and are super lightweight.

Very comfortable and clear headset would leave a 5 star but you can not adjust audio or turn on 3d audio without using a computer and can only use those setting while on that computer so for playstation or xbox this is a run of the mill headset and would definitely recommend the razer kraken for console

The Mic is the Deal Breaker

The headset isn't bad, per se; it's purely for gaming and communicating over said games-- however, my two complaints are the sound enhancements and the mic itself. The sound enhancements aren't user-friendly; unless you're familiar with audio equalizers, it'll be difficult to find the right settings for you. I personally like a lot of bass, especially when I'm listening to music; even with the bass boost, it feels muddy. I feel the earbuds that came with my Samsung provide a richer experience than these headphones, so this is disappointing. The deal-breaker for me is the mic. Because it's detachable, the audio input is very sensitive. One minute I'm talking on Discord and the next, it refuses to pick up me talking unless I fidget with the mic itself-- and if you pair that with the obnoxious noises that come with adjusting a mic? Needless to say, this expensive investment wasn't worth the investment for me. I plan on returning them and (hopefully) vie for an affordable and/or quality option.

it felt amazing. sound was good but i had to return i8t because the wire would repeatedly get tangled with itself and any other wires nearby. if wires annoy you like they do me i'd suggest going for the pro wireless version.

Sound is good - when it works. For gaming the sound is very nice provided you've installed the Razer software. If you don't you get a lot of crackling. This is even worse if you're using it for any voice chat or for work. The software mostly takes care of this, but the software takes up nearly 1GB of memory when running. The mute button is really annoyingly placed too. Wouldn't recommend getting it again.

    Average headset

This headset is pretty average: The sound quality is average. It's not bad but not great either. Based on user and published reviews I was expecting something very high quality. The mic doesnt seem to pick up a lot of sound. I had to jack up the input strength and mic boost, and keep the mic pretty much on my mouth, for it to be audible. I'm a pretty loud person. The headset is very comfortable and can be worn for extended periods of time. Probably the comfiest headsets I've used. In retrospect I would have bought something else. This is a big improvement on my old headset comfort-wise but audio wise leaves a lot to be desired.

The are definitely a comfy set of headphones and great entry level set. That said, I personally don't feel audio quality is all there to warrant beyond the $100 price tag. If you find yourself buying beyond the $100 price tag, I would recommend looking at the Razer Nari line of headphones instead as they seem to have better sound quality. If you have a PS5 or are centric on FULL IMERSION and have a bit more cash to spare, the Nari Ultimate headphones are simply the best on the market for that. Naturally this is what I did. I can't knock the headphones too hard since they are not bad, but they are not the best at the end of the day.

Mic has to be close to your mouth before it picks up your voice. if the mic is too far there will be a delay before anyone can hear your voice. not a good mic but the sound from the headset is decent

Not too bad, but the earpieces slide down a lot and the boom mic doesnt retract or even fold. Sound quality is decent enough. Id be happy with them for $50 or $60. I paid almost $100

Decent headset for the price. Sound is decent but can get uncomfortable after a while if you wear glasses and/or have a slightly larger head. Feels a little cheap but overall just sounded OK. Unfortunately returned these for a corsair headset so long term I have no idea of how they would hold up

it’s pretty solid but is only best when plugged in with the usb device it comes with. I’ve been using it straight into a controller and it’s not bad. Optimal and preferred way is definitely with the pack.

I got this to replace my Nari ultimate wireless headset. I ended up switching back to the Nari. I dont feel like this headset is worth the price. It feels kinda cheap and the sound quality is mid. This is definitely a bottom tier razer product that would be good for casual console gaming or mobile gaming at best.
