I bought it on March 28, 2025 for my brand new PC built It at first I had no problems with it until today January 28, 2026 at 3:05 AM. My D keypad is no longer functioning I looked up every video I could find to make it work and it still doesn’t work. I thought buying a $180 keyboard from razor would be worth it but turns out just another product that breaks easily.

The Blackwidow V4 Pro Mechanical Keyboard by Razer is an awesome keyboard. Although this is my first mechanical keyboard, I’m in love with it. The clicky and tactile buttons are great, and not to mention the super cool RGB colors that flows throughout the board. There are additional buttons you can map for ease of use, especially during gaming. The quality and feel of this keyboard is fantastic. The included wrist-pad is a must as well, it’s very comfy.
Since this is my first mech keyboard, I’m unable to compare it to other ones; it is a bit loud but that is expected. But I do like that.
I upgraded from a Razer Deathadder keyboard (which is not mechanical, and only shines a green color) to this awesome one after a decade of usage.
I have only had this keyboard for about a week, but I truly love it. Thank you BestBuy!

Another absolutely amazing product from Razer! Being able to sync up the RGB flowing colors, makes for a fantastic ambiance while playing any game! I love the clickity clack of the key strokes when typing. Responsive when playing games, volume scroll control & 6 special button keys. It also has a removable wrist pad that is magnetic.

I'm not that much of a RGB kind of guy, but Razer does nail it on this keyboard. The software actually works very well (looking at you Asus!) and the customization possible covers everything from subtle and functional (seeing the keys in a dark room) to extremely flashy and showy. Personally I like the reactive mode where the keyboard sort of mirrors what is on the screen.
The keyboard itself is very rigid and the top surface feeling very premium. That the bottom is plastic is okay I think as it doesn't take away from the how the keyboard feels structurally and you don't see or interact with the bottom. I only mention it as some other keyboards in this price range make a big deal out of having an all metal structure.
The green switches are very clicky. I like that but I suspect that it is probably 70/30 in terms of people preferring the yellows that feel similar but aren't so clicky. If you are reading this and considering, try both. As far as feel though, it is great for me. The weight and travel is just right for going quickly for affirmatively. The force is actuate is light, but they feel very stable and well lubricated.
The keycaps looks nice with a modern but not silly looking font that really shows the RGB just right. I really like the media controls and especially the volume roller. I didn't think it would be that big of a deal, but it is surprising how often I just flick the volume up or down when I don't have to look around to find the control! Likewise, the media controls, especially the mute button, are very intuitively placed. I like the wrist rest as well. The firmness is just right I think.

Shhhh! Don't tell mom - I'm supposed to be writing an essay!
The Razer Blackwidow V4 is a fantastic keyboard. I am especially pleased with the volume control on the upper right corner. Its predecessor had some issues with the feet a bit; move the keyboard and the feet want to collapse back down, but that is not the case with this one. Lighting is vibrant and bold and easily controlled with the Synapse V4 software. I also find the click-switch to be very satisfying; it confirms audibly that my keys have been pressed.
Along with my Razer Naga V2 Pro I have a very competent gaming setup that also does great with schoolwork. Speaking of, I think I hear mom coming - gotta go! Shhhh!

I’ve been using the Razer BlackWidow V4 for a little while now and I’m really impressed. The green clicky switches feel super responsive and satisfying to type on — they’re definitely loud, but in the best way if you like that tactile click. Perfect for both gaming and regular typing.
The RGB lighting is bright and customizable, and it looks awesome on my desk. The build quality feels solid, and the wrist rest is comfortable for long gaming sessions. I also like the dedicated media controls and volume dial, which make it easy to adjust things without leaving my game.
It is on the pricier side, but you can tell you’re getting a premium keyboard. If you enjoy mechanical switches and want something reliable with great features, this is 100% worth it.

Love this keyboard. I have had a couple other brands this keyboard blows them out of the water. The keys have a satisfying click and movement. The detachable wrist pad is comfortable and feels well made. The multi function volume scroll again has a very satisfying click and feel. I payed less for this keyboard than the other brand name one I had before it. The cord is a nice latch, but it is swappable as well. You could make it shorter or longer, whatever your particular application is. Lastly the Chroma RGB is wonderful. It is bright and this particular keyboard has side lighting as well. You can change the RGB pattern without installing a program, but you can download a program as well for more options. Can’t beat this thing for the price. Best bang for your buck in my opinion.

I've been a Razer keyboard for a number of years now. They're consistent, with a couple of features that make me come back to this brand specifically.
Pros -
- Unlike other brands, this does NOT have a brushed finish. I love this, since it looks sleeker, and is much easier to keep clean. I'll keep purchasing Razer keyboards just because of this
- This model actually has a working sound knob (this feature did not work on previous versions)
- Everything about the keyboard itself feels solid
- The extra bit of lighting on either side is nice
- The wrist rest has a much stronger magnet than previously
- The detachable cable make it easy to clean my desk
- The extra keys will be put to good use, though the new typing experience takes some time to get used to
Cons -
- Horribly cheap wrist rest (I'll still be using my old one)
- Razer Synapse (the software) is still clunky compared to Logitech's, though it does seem to offer more control (since I program all of the extra keys)

Solid keyboard overall. Build quality feels very sturdy and the keys are responsive and comfortable for both gaming and everyday use. RGB lighting looks great and is easy to customize. I like the extra macro keys and the media controls — they’re actually useful. It’s wired and takes up some desk space, but if you want a full-size mechanical keyboard that feels well made and performs well, this is a good choice.

We got this for our son for his birthday and this is what he had to say:
“It utilizes software to easily customize colors. It is very sturdy and will last a long time. Took me little time to adjust to the unique but sleek design. Can’t get enough of the mechanical keyboard sound so epic.”

This keyboard feels incredible to type on — the green switches are clicky and responsive without feeling heavy. The RGB lighting is bright and fully customizable, and the wrist rest is super comfortable for long sessions. It’s built solid, connects instantly, and works perfectly for both gaming and everyday typing. Definitely one of the best full-size keyboards I’ve owned.
