This piece of art is blazing fast and runs all my games on Ultra 1080p at 60+ FPS. I'm very happy with build quality, design, lightweight and performance. If you don't mind the above average bezels, than you're fine. I personally don't.

Bought this laptop from best buy about a month ago. I needed a laptop that was lightweight so that I could carry it to college with me, but wanted something powerful top. Razer blade fit my criteria perfectly. Not only is this laptop powerful (more power per square inch than an entire MacBook at a similar price) but it's light and thin too. I can run a lot of AAA titles at 80+ fps at high. Battery life isn't the best and it won't last you a day, but it easily gives me 5-6 hours with brightness turned down halfway and the chroma lighting turned off. My only problem with the laptop is the finish, which gets scratched pretty easily, and not to forget the fingerprint friendly body. Overall a great laptop, just make sure you order a sleeve along with it.

This is the MacBook Pro of gaming laptops. Sleek, elegant design with functionality and power. I used to have a MacBook Pro Mid 2014 and recently upgraded to an Asus Gaming Laptop, I loved that laptop but man it was just so big and clunky, even though it was still small compared to other gaming laptops. I switched from that to the Blade and wow, I'm just completely amazed. To put it in the most basic of terms, it's a black MacBook Pro with a GTX1060 in it. The Asus I had previously couldn't fit in the laptop pocket of my book-bag, but this one fits perfectly, even the MacBook Pro I had before was a tight fit compared to this one. I don't know how else to say this but if you want a powerful laptop that isn't big and bulky, this has to be the best option out there. The MSI offering is quite nice by the way, but I've taken one apart and the build quality doesn't compare. I don't even write reviews for products, but I liked it so much I felt I had to share it.

I bought my Razer Blade three weeks ago, I do like this laptop but there are some certain minor or you can say major issue that Razer need to correct before sell them. The first issue, the stand rubber is not very center of under the laptop. Due to that, my laptop does not balance and when ever I rest my right hand "palm", the laptop will do some little move or tilt up the Blade. Second, when I fold down the Blade I could see the gauge behind the laptop "Display and the whole bottom unit" is not balance. One side will open wide and one will close tight. Third, the Blade will do some a little flickering, it happen sometime after couple I did turn on the laptop and go off. I have a feeling that, this flickering might be a big issue in the long run. The blade is the most expensive laptop of all brand, I wish Razer will take serious of their product before selling. Thanks you for BestBuy to give me a review of my order.

The fans are out of this world loud even on idol. I've been a long time Mac user so I definitely wasn't used to that. Overall one of the best gaming laptops because of it's size and performance. Fast without a doubt.

Love the PC, its fast with loads of power, plays all my games on max settings and works awesome with an extended monitor with Photoshop.
My only complains on the razer is that this model only has 250 Gbs of storage and that it gets insanely loud while playing a game or during heavy load.
Other then that is a great computer for school, great built quality, stylish, and fast

So I ordered this laptop through Best Buy and I got to say this laptop is a beast. Hands down the best gaming laptop on the market. Razer has the best build quality almost equivalent to apple. This laptop can do high level gaming and more. I would suggest anyone to buy this computer any day of the week

I freaking love my Razer balde pro. This laptop is perfect for gaming and doing work on the side. I use this to go to college and to game when I have time. I love how it’s so light, I can just stick it in my backpack with my surface pro 4 and get going.
The battery life is alright for a gaming laptop, I would 10/10 recommend, I get such high (60)FPS on games like titanfall 2 and Star Wars battlefront and heavily modded Minecraft files.

This laptop is a great gaming laptop with lots of power. I bought an oculus rift for vr with it and it runs it very smoothly. The only downside to this thing is when playing a game/vr the fans can get quite noisy, but when I’m doing such I always use headphones so I can’t tell. But great laptop super light and portable! It’s the MacBook Pro of gaming laptops!

great laptop, basically looks like a Mac book pro but in black aluminum. Great looks a performance, only minor issues, black aluminum shows all dirt and handprints, wish it was a 15” screen as opposed to 14” and when playing fans power up and sounds like an airplane, you won’t notice after a while.
Would buy again but next time with a 1TB drive

there are better laptops at this price UHD, 4k etc but this laptop is meant for gaming and at this price it is worth. Gaming is better at 1080p. You get a slim laptop with 1060 GTX.
Wont have bought from razor directly as I heard their customer service is bad. No issues with best buy at all.

Keyboard Broke in 1st Month

I have used macs my whole life. I finally decided to move over to a PC because I have heard good things and I was fed up with their customer service. Ultimately I decided to go with a razer because it was thin, light and I was looking for a gaming laptop.
I finally get the razer and I love it. It’s fast, easy to use and the light up keyboard was my favorite. However, after about a month the keyboard stopped working! I take very good care of my things. I had never dropped it, ate food near it or gotten any type of liquid on it. It just stopped working and I could not type anything. Luckily it’s still within the time frame to return it so I returned it to Best Buy and exchanged it for a new one with the bigger hard drive (it was on sale and cheaper than this one for some reason and Best Buy’s geek squad was absolutely no help). Nonetheless I do like this computer a lot and I hope this next one will last longer. The only other downside is how loud the fan is especially while playing games on it.
I’m curious though if anyone has had the same issue with the keyboard and it just stops working out of no where?

Gaming Windows Equivalent to a MacBook.

I read a lot of reviews online and watched a lot of videos before making this purchase.
My main concern was the fan noise prior to purchasing. I am delighted to announce that for the most part, I do not have issues with the fan, it is steadily on while playing games at high/ultra setting and it will sometimes rev up (really loud mind you) but usually only for 10-20 seconds and then goes back to a steady speed. I have had no issues with the fan noise while doing anything outside of games.
With that being said, however, I am not the heaviest of gamers. I play WoW, ES, CS, TellTale games, and a few others. I didn't get to test it on anything too demanding like the Witcher. I can say that if you put WoW on medium settings the fan won't even kick on and it doesn't kick on at all playing CS or Telltale games.
If I could give this a 4.5-star rating I would but unfortunately, there are minor issues that are holding it back from a full 5 stars. See below.
Pros:
Portability/Size/Build quality
Processor speed/GPU
Display/Customizable backlighting on keys
Razer Synapse (much better than Alienware command center)
Laptop stays cool
Speakers (for how little the laptop is the sound quality is very good)
Having 3 USB ports
The touchpad feels similar to MacBook.
Cons:
Fan noise (can be a bit loud like mentioned above)
Fingerprint and smudges show up very easily on the lid.
Only 60hz refresh rate on screen.
Price is a bit high in comparison to other laptops in the same size range (with that being said I also find it interesting that Alienware offers their "graphics amplifier" for a fraction of razers "core" and this is something that I would potentially be interested in if the price comes down but that is neither here nor there)
The function keys and the punctuations/symbols do not light up so you have to remember where each thing is.
The bezel is a bit big could almost fit a 15inch screen if you eliminated the bezel.
A few recommendations from personal experience thus far and from many hours reading/watching reviews.
Purchase the protection plan through Best Buy. Many, many, people have said that the Razer support is hit or miss and most of the time is a huge miss.
Purchase a skin or something equivalent for the lid. As I mentioned the lid shows finger prints and smudges super easy. Also if you ding the machine it is very noticeable since it is a matte black.
I purchased a laptop fan to help with the cooling of the machine and to keep the fans from getting out of control.
If you're looking for something to be very portable while also being a beast at running games this is the machine you're looking for.
To me, this machine is the gaming windows equivalent to a Macbook.
