I’ve been using this device for 3 days now And it’s Amazing! First I’ve used it for playing some games and it does over 60Fps in most games it is light for a gaming laptop weighing 4.5Lbs And it’s 0.78mm So it’s very thin like a lot of people say it is a fingerprint magnet by my first day using it.It already had many fingerprints so you have to clean it around every 3-5 days I’d say But overall it’s amazing I got the excellent Condition And it’s a bargain.

    Great performance, so-so battery life

So, I'm loving this Razer blade 15 base model. I bought it for content creation (video editing and photo) The only complaint is the battery life takes a hit, because of the smaller battery, the 2nd HDD taking up space. I knew this, and video and photo take up space, so I chose the 2nd HDD option rather than the Advanced model (which only has a single NVMe drive). This is one of the few content creation laptops that support 2 drives.... Still, I'm getting like 4-5hrs doing web and Netflix, which is kinda low. I probably need to tweak the battery settings and the Razer Synapse App. There are multiple settings to manage performance vs battery. (Windows, RAZER apps, and Nvidia settings) so that can be a little overwhelming. But it's nice to be able to change the settings and customize. I did manage about 2hrs on battery editing 4k video in Adobe Premiere. If the 4k files are on the NVMe drive during editing this thing is butter smooth. With the 4k files on the HDD the RAM usage goes up. But still handles video editing 4k files once they render on the timeline. Sidenote: Nvidia is working on Creator/Studio drivers rather than the Gaming drivers. They really want to optimize the GPU for creatives. Currently my Nvidia App/drivers get updates frequently, So, I'm glad Nvidia is still paying attention to the 1060 Max-Q graphics in this laptop.

I bought the laptop in July 2019, in August I realized that the laptop was not closing correctly and in a vertical position the lid opened with any tilt. I received a replacement from razer. This past Thursday it happened again but the laptop was inside the protective case inside my backpack, when I took it out it was burning hot so much that I burned my hand, I couldn't hold it for more than 3 seconds. There is a design flaw with this product that after one or two months of use, the screen opens by itself when tilted or simply does not close as it should. I am requesting a refund from razer because I no longer trust this product as it could have caused a major accident if I had not taken the latop out from the backpack. I do not want to continue dealing with this product and its problems and they provide me with nothing more than a "repair" Don't buy it

I’m not a gamer- but I needed the power and the storage this setup provides. Perfect answer to my work challenges. Lightning fast, ridiculous storage and it’s not too hard on the eyes either.

My first ever gaming/high performance computer

Since this is my first ever actually good computer i dont know how it compares to other high end laptops but i can say its realllllly fast, you press the power button and boom instantly on no load screens or anything. I can play basically the most recent games like devil may cry 5 and RAGE 2 on ultra settings across the board. I also gears of war 4 multiplayer on ultra settings and it runs smooth as butter. I would of given it 5 stars but i get an occasional game freeze which is fixs by ctrl+alt+del. I undervolted to see if it would help with the freezing and heat (gets realllly hot which concerns me). Now it doesnt go passed 84C and thts usually a quick peak it doesnt stay at that temp, usually between 70C-75C while gaming. One more reason i didnt give it 5 stars is that the screen could be brighter and a little more vibrant. Overall id say its a great performing laptop, the build quality is great, i love the finish on it, its not big and bulky and its got a nice regular non-gaming laptop look to it. The price is pretty steep considering base model but you are paying for the name and quality of build/parts. If you have the extra cash to spend id say buy it in a heartbeat! I ended up buying razers RGB lightstrips and hooked it up behind a "27 144hz dell monitor that i got on sale ;) it definetly makes you more immersed into the game. No questions asked but id definetly buy it again or even upgrade to the maxxed out 4K model!!

This laptop has exceeded my expectations for performance. Everything is smooth and sleek and it has a surprising amount of subtle features. It’s comparable to a MacBook Pro in feel but far far far more robust. My ONLY gripe of this machine is that it shows fingerprints somewhat easy. I was not expecting that and it takes a bit away from the overall aesthetic appeal of the laptop Like I said that’s my only gripe, thus far it has done everything I needed it to do and proven to be a very very good buy. I even bought my girlfriend the same model so she could enjoy it and not feel jealous that my laptop basically trivialized hers. But ya know... that’s love I guess... I would recommend looking into the accessories Razer makes such as the external GPU enclosure as i’ve Never seen anything like that before and now that it’s a technology I think it’s super cool. Though I haven’t purchased it yet. Still the possibilities... In closing I don’t regret it at all. I cringed a little when I swiped my card and then again when I swiped it for my girl but it’s been totally worth it!

I just wanted to leave an honest review, so I've had my laptop for about a year now and the only complaint I have is the fans, just a bit loud sometimes, but if you play some music through headphones or the speakers you don't notice it. So for a laptop it beats almost every single one of my friends desktops with more power, great speeds, and great audio. Love how portable it is and easy to set up anywhere. Has power for gaming, editing videos and making animations like on blender(if you know what blender is). All in all great laptop for pretty much everything.

I purchased this laptop a few weeks ago so I can work while on the road and from home. Im an auto cad user and this machine handles everything great. Im not a very big gamer but it handles the couple games I’ve played great ( battfield1 &v) the fan does kick in and isn’t quiet but I expected noise because of the power it’s using. The metal finish gives it a great look just watch out for finger prints, it’s Inevitable but part of it I’d say. Speakers are great in my opinion. One thing that I’d recommend is going for more SSD space. My company works of Google drive and syncing 500+gigs to the standard 2tb drive took forever (which I expected) but if you have a little more cash I’d upgrade that. I Plan on doing it in the future.

I bought this on sale. So far the laptop has been great. Starts up very fast. I don't tend to play the latest and greatest games when they are new, but I tried it out on Fallout 4 on the highest settings and everything looked good with no slowdowns or choppy frames. I'm not crazy about the keyboard and the fans do get loud at times, but other than that I'm really happy with the purchase.

SSD failed right after warranty ran out -- sporadic BSODs and sometimes failure to boot. Customer service was middling; they were nice, wanted tons of info, and after all was said and done, weren't going to help in any way. Had to diagnose it myself and try a new SSD, thankfully that fixed the problem. Otherwise it's a solid machine and I got a great deal.

Long time MacOS user here. This was my first purchase back into the Windows side and I could not be happier. This laptop handles everything I’ve thrown at it from photo/video, to music production, to gaming. All while having one of the sleekest designs in a modern laptop. I couldn’t recommend this laptop enough.

So far I love this thing. Has no problem playing anything I've thrown at it so far. It does run very hot so I undervolted it, now it runs around 70°C under full load. My only complaints would be for the price this thing should really include a 144hz screen instead of the 60hz it has. Also, it's a fingerprint magnet, so I would recommend a skin for it. I have heard a lot of horror stories about dealing with Razers customer service and quality control, so keep that in mind. I did have a problem with the GPU on mine, so I exchanged it for a new one, with no issues from Best Buy. All in all I would say it's worth it if you want a powerful gaming laptop that isn't a tacky "Xtreme Gamer" looking laptop.

I would give it a 4.5 star if there was a choice. Great laptop. Taking a star off for the high price. It was 1500 it would've been worth every penny. Fan noise while gaming is definitely tolerable, not annoying at all. While doing productivity work, it's almost silent, and cool enough to stay on lap. It has a much better cooling than the so called "vapor chamber" models, not sure why, maybe the extra thickness and less performance needed for a lower refresh rate screen. I prefer this model just the heat issue alone. I returned the RTX2060 model, simply because it ran way too hot and loud, it's silent at idle, but still much hotter than the base. The GTX1060 definitely satisfies all the casual gaming you wanna do. If you are one of those guys, you need a 144Hz screen to play games, then you are at the wrong place. The extra thickness is not an issue at all, you wouldn't even know it's thicker unless you have the thinner model side by side. Great laptop overall, a bit over-priced

A bit pricey, loud, and hot. If you need a mobile gaming laptop, you can’t go wrong with Razor. I ultimately took it back because of the poor reputation of the fixability.

I'm new to the world of PC gaming and windows format, I owned a MacBook from 2012 that died. I decided to branch out and buy this laptop (my immediate family all use Apple). I grew up with Apple computers so the learning curve was tricky and occasionally I thought I had made a mistake switching to windows. But I'm so glad I did it! Wish I had done so sooner! Sure, it's not flawless, but no computer is. I am now obsessed with razer products!
