There were a lot of complaints on the model prior to this. The keyboard layout was funny, the screen was too slow, and the video card just needed a slight boost. Well, Razer listened and came out with this bad boy. I went from gaming on a AlienWare 17 R5, and that thing was a built like a brick house, and was as heavy as one too. This is so light, and so easy to carry around! I still am adjusting to the size difference, but wow this is so awesome. Once I installed the 1650Ti graphics drivers, from Nvidia GeForce, this played all my games flawlessly. If you don't mind bumping the settings down a tad, you can easily hit the 120 refresh rate. I just love how portable this thing is. Worst case scenario if you need a bigger graphics card when gaming at home, you can always plug in an external GPU into the thunderbolt 3 port. Would highly recommend for those gaming on the go.

I owned a 2018 Razer Blade Stealth which had the old chassis, but the better keyboard with a proper shift key. I was looking forward to seeing Razer bringing the old keyboard to the new chassis, and my patience was rewarded. I had actually picked up the newer chassis once before when it had the MX150 but it had a coil whine and I just could not forgive the keyboard. This thing is PERFECT for me. I love the form factor, I love having the 1650Ti graphics card for on the go but with the ability to use an egpu when home and hooked up to dual monitors. No, it's not a much faster much more efficient AMD Ryzen processor this go around and hopefully Razer will go that direction in a couple of years. But it works perfectly for my needs (mostly browsing, home management needs like spreadsheets, and some light gaming). I looked hard at the Zephyrus G14, but for me the form factor and build quality were too important. I didn't want to deal with a poorly backlit keyboard and no webcam. I understand that thing is a ton faster than this and cheaper when on sale vs the clearance price for this, but it also gets really hot too and who really knows what that will mean long term. Anyway, I cannot recommend this enough. The keyboard is a dream to me. Good luck finding one at the $1,299 price point. If you do, PICK IT UP! You won't be disappointed.

I'm not a paid reviewer, bought this with my own money, not a review unit.
First of all, there are two GPUs on this build, for some reason, all games you play are using the Iris Plus Graphics, the 1650ti max Q didn't even turn on and I wanted to return it.
Found from a forum that you had to go to Nvidia Control Panel to switch to the GTX. Night and day.
Fortnite
Iris plus, all low 30 fps
Gtx 1650ti, all medium 90 -120 fps
Nba 2k20 -horrible game code
Iris plus, all low 28-35 fps on low
Gtx 1650ti, all high 60 fps constant.
After solving that here is my review.
It is a powerhouse, and having a GPU in such a small format factor is so good. Also to mention, this is a light machine 3.1 pounds. The charging brick isn't a big 10 pound thing that you hate carrying, pretty small.
Battery is good. Battery saver mode gives 6 hours. Gaming on battery lasts 2 hours. Not the bad of a performance dip while gaming on battery.
The fans are quiet, even when playing games. Sure they spin up in call of duty, and sure it sounds like a jet engine at the worse stress....but you can't avoid that. Don't like the fan noise? By a tablet or a gaming PC. You could get a great gaming PC.
Now the monkey in the room, why didn't I buy the gem Zephyrus g14 that everyone is taking about.
-tech support for Asus sucks
-even with the thermals, that laptop gets loud and WAY too hot
-razer laptop fan, bought a 2018 15 inch blade with a gtx 1070
- bought it and didn't boot, the screen sucks... random flickers and weird screen response time.
Buy this, it isn't the most powerful, but does some smart things to keep the power constant. You could have a silent machine watching YouTube. You could have 300 layer photoshop file. You can have a full song plus filters in FL Studios. You could run crud code games at a constant 60 fps. You can run optimized games at the constant 120 fps the screen can do. It's a great all in one.
Stay safe everyone. I'll try and respond to any questions.

I loved this thing while I had it. It only
lasted me ~2.5 years but i got the 3 yr protection plan and got all of it back towards my next laptop. For entry level gamers and people who want to multitask this is a great laptop. The battery is meh (6/10) but the screen is pretty good when you reach higher refresh rates. My issues were the following: had to jet the keyboard replaced (get a keyboard cover!!), a sticky trackpad, and I also had a random dead pixel on the screen which was especially annoying when gaming. Overall I’m glad that I had it but I wouldn’t get another razer product again unless i got the protection plan.

The build quality of this laptop deserves all the stars. The battery life is insane. I was getting 10-11 hours with my video test. (just playing one of those 10 hour videos on YouTube) I love everything about it but the screen. The 120hz is fine. But the response time is so high that pixel ghosting is a huge problem. I tried to get used to it but I just couldn't. I had to send it back. And I do not know what the response time of the screen is. But other than that, it was an amazing computer for what it is. No, you're not gonna play games in high settings. But I recommend this to anyone who needs a thin and light computer with good enough performance and ultra portability.

Everything about this laptop is perfect! I am a guy who switched over from a mac book pro 13 and I'm glad! The 120hz screen is amazing, it makes everything so smooth, and the colors are great too! The i7 and GTX 1650 ti are perfect for 1080p gaming! The laptop build quality is the best on the market. It has the best track pad out of any windows laptop too! The keyboard feels and looks great with the rgb lighting. I just got this laptop for college and I know I made the perfect decision!

Build quality is top notch!! Gaming on this little thing is great too, played some WoW on highest settings, plugged in was over 100fps and unplugged ran a solid 70fps. Doesn't even get hot. Fan noise is minimal from other gaming laptop Ive had (Asus m15). She runs great, no issues with Ghosting on the 120hz panel for me. Vibrant colors. Would purchase again instantly!!!

I really wanted to ignore all of the unfortunate stories about Razer laptops, because this is a truly unique product. There really is no other laptop like this - it is very thin, light, well-built, with a great keyboard, touchpad, port selection and high-refresh screen. I loved this laptop.
Unfortunately, my first Stealth had a fan that made a faint grinding sound when running. No, this was not just the fan being loud. Yes, I know they can get loud and they're supposed to sound like laptop fans when they get loud. This sounded just like when the fan went bad in several other laptops I had - it would grind and fluctuate in volume when I moved the laptop around. So I exchanged it for a second one, and it had the exact same problem, but the second also had severe screen ghosting to the point that it was distracting.
At that point I gave up. I really, really wanted this to work out, because there is no other gaming laptop like this, but mine weren't any good.

Premium Entry Level Gaming

I've had this product for about a month now and I don't really have many complaints that could turn me away from this device if I were to go back in time and choose again.
If you are looking at this device, more then likely you are also looking at something like the MSI or the ASUS g14, and so was I. If you would prefer to game more, then those options would probably be best. This laptop does not have the best GPU, but it does make up for the premium packaging you get and a great thermal system.
I will for sure say that I had wished that this laptop had a better battery, but it is enough to last me through the time that I had without the charger. What I'm getting at, it's enough for about 5-6 hours without your charger
At this price point, it feels a bit crazy to choose this over the more powered G14 for less. However, I found myself with the Razer because I knew that I would appreciate the engineering instead on on the Blade. I prefer the thermal solutions on the Blade because I noticed that the G14 vented straight into the screen. For my use, I found myself blasting the fans a lot and I was worried that overtime, that could effect my computer.
Do I wish this had the AMD processor? Absolutely. I am of the opinion that the CPU is the only thing that really hinders the Blade in comparison to something like the G14. However, the 1650ti and the 10th gen i7 are enough for me. At a certain point, I realized that it really comes down to the design portion rather than the components once you work out what you want there.
Design wise, this is the exact laptop I have been looking for. The keyboard is great, and it has a great layout. The screen is bright and has great color accuracy. There is a camera, so you don't have to go out to get one if you go with the Asus laptop. The keyboard lighting is also great, unlike the Asus which I tired out for a little, I could actually see the keys in a dark setting, a situation I find myself in often. It is also extremely well balanced. If you were to pick up the blade, then pick up something like the G14, you can feel how the blade seems evenly balanced while there is something off about holding the G14. Maybe that was just me, but I found myself thinking about that before my decision.
All in all, if you are thinking about gaming more, go with MSI and the G14. If you are worried about the screen or wish there wasn't a "chin" at the bottom of the screen, then maybe the XPS would be better. However, if you want the best of both worlds and you can afford it, I think that the Blade would be a great fit. I would however, do your research. Every need is different and the Blade fits what I needed.
Note: I will say that this laptop can be a fingerprint magnet, I am using a Dbrand skin myself and it fits nicely.

This Laptop can do everything. It is so compact and well built. It is the thinnest laptop and weighs almost nothing. It is also a Gaming Laptop. I use it for School and Gaming without a hassle. I have been an Apple person for the longest, but wow how great is this Laptop. I truly recommend this to whoever doesn’t mind shelling out a bit of cash. Razer products are always reliable.

Razer Blade Stealth 13.3" (early 2020)

Chassis:
High quality CNC machined aluminum chassis. Nice clean edges and small side/top bezels. Bottom bezel is thicker, but it still looks fine. The Razer logo on the top panel isn't backlit, which I prefer.
Gaming:
I use a dual fan laptop cooler whenever I play games. It gets warm under the left palm rest during heavy load, but not enough for the system to throttle performance. This is significantly better than the 2017 version, which would get hot enough under the left half of the keyboard to throttle performance.
Screen:
I have the 120 Hz refresh rate version. It's par for the course as far as 120 Hz screens go. No complaints so far.
Speakers:
The speakers aren't amazing, but I wouldn't have expected any different from a laptop of this size.
Battery life:
I haven't extensively tested the battery life, except during gaming sessions. I've been able to play Grim Dawn for 3-4 hours at a time from near full charge before the battery warning comes on.
Network card:
I did have some issues with the Wi-Fi 6 network card intermittently dropping from my 5 Ghz band. This is more an issue with the Intel AX200/201 cards and drivers than an issue specific to the Razer Blade Stealth, as many other laptops have this same issue. My particular issue was solved by changing the MU-MIMO settings on the network card.

Loved this device. Yes, it’s expensive and you can get a better spec’d laptop for much cheaper. But those devices aren’t built as well as this is. This can do enough video editing, photo editing, etc. for casual users, and it’s super lightweight and portable and extremely well built. It’s very speedy, has great battery life. THE REASON WHY I TOOK ONE STAR OFF: quality control. My laptop seems to have an issue with the trackpad where somehow at various points left clicking will get the button stuck. It’s very annoying. Might try to exchange for a new one, but it’s annoying that at this price it’s an issue. Still, great device.

Absolutely love this Razer Blade Stealth laptop. At first I purchased the Blade 15, and it was plenty powerful and great, but the battery life was sub-par and the laptop itself was pretty heavy. Understandable for a gaming laptop. However this Razer Blade Stealth is the best of all worlds for my needs. It is super small and light, fantastic build quality, awesome screen, excellent battery life (8-9 hours not under big load) and decent gaming ability. Am I running games on ultra specs? No; but it has been able to run the games I've thrown at it really well at medium graphics. The ram is not upgradable, but 16GB is good enough for most needs. Also, being able to USB-C charge it from both ports is a godsend that I didn't know I needed until this. All-in-all, would highly recommend this computer.

I love this laptop more than I thought I would, and that's coming from someone who has tried really hard to avoid Razer products.
The specs are amazing for the average gamer, the 120hz matte screen is beautiful, and Windows Hello is the most unnecessary but most desirable feature I've seen. Trackpad is the best you'll find outside of Apple and speakers are good for day-to-day but lack bass (and again crown is taken by Apple).
Unless you play AAA games you won't hear the fans run and it'll get a tiny bit warm on average tasks.
It's a sleek, well balanced machine without an obnoxious indented green Razer logo that is serving me well.

I have owned a number of Razer Blade Stealth, going back to when they had 12.5" screens. This one is by far the best, and the first one that doesn't have to rely on an eGPU to be considered a gaming laptop.
The build quality is top notch. The device is sturdy, and feels dense. Zero flex anywhere.
The keyboard is one of my favorite on any laptop, probably second only to the Pixelbook.
I play a lot of less demanding games (Wasteland, Divinity, Outer Worlds) and they all ran great at medium settings.
I also plugged this into a Razer Core X Chroma, and was able to play all the same games but on High to Ultra settings on my QHD monitor. Using the Razer Core was basically plug-and-play.
The only major downside is the battery life isn't great, even when you aren't gaming. I get about 5, maybe pushing 6 hours when I am using it for productivity work. Luckily, this has a pretty small charger.
Best Use Case: You want a light gaming laptop that is well built, and can be expanded with an eGPU.
Worst Use Case: You need day-long battery life, and you don't care about gaming.

This laptop is great for all work and low end gaming. You have to go in with the mindset that this laptop can run any more than 1080p max 60hz high settings on most games. Some require a little more power and you will get 30hz, on AAA games.
The computer is great (aluminum build, high quality keyboard, reposnive touchpad, decent webcam 720p, and decent ram) though the laptop is a bit small and it would have been great to add touch screen, but honestly laptops get really dirty that way. You can upgrade the internal storage and ram, but at 16gb for the work it will do is fine. For storage I just bought a 4tb external hard drive and it's all good.
The rgb is awesome and there is no individual key lighting but it's alright, I like whole colors as individuals I find distracting.
Overall it's a good laptop for light gaming and great for work (excel, word, etc.) That I would recommend to anyone. Though buying an exterior monitor for gaming is a good suggestion as well as dual display to have a bigger screen for writing.

If you want the most powerful gaming machine on the market don't buy this laptop. If you want the best thin and light productivity machine maybe buy an Apple Macbook Pro 13. However if you want a machine that is incredibly thin and light (true ultrabook) and can game at 1080p like a champ with even the most demanding titles, Call of Duty, Red Dead 2, Deep Rock Galactic, then this is machine for you. This is a dream machine for gamers that have always wanted the thinnest and lightest powerful computer with serious gaming abilities. This machine is expensive but you are getting what you pay for in Razer build quality and performance.

I got this because I love the 13” laptop size for daily carry. At this size you really do not have many options that play games beyond low settings due to the lack of graphics.
I play World of Warcraft on this and its on the 8 settings which his basically high. The ultra setting would have to of course be on a beefier system thats 15”
All and all I would recommend checking this out and buying it if it fits your needs. And everyone compliments it and asks what it is when I pull it out.

OVERALL:
The speakers and the webcam are suboptimal but considering its an insane amount of hardware for the price and in such a small, light package, it's worth the money.
HARDWARE & PERFORMANCE:
It runs all my games on ultra and never skips a beat regardless of what work applications I am running (from servers to intensive compilations).
SCREEN:
It's nice and generally pretty standard (except for maybe the 120hz screen?). Nothing much to say here.
CAMERA:
This is where I have to ding it. Its low light correction is ABYSMAL. I am not sure if its just the lens or the sensor but whenever there's a small (but decent) amount of light, it looks like I am situated inside a dark cave. If there's too much light especially coming from a single light source, the camera overcorrects and overexposes my face. This is especially a problem at night.
Coming from a macbook pro where the camera was excellent regardless of situation, this is a real downgrade.
Windows Hello is nice and works well although I prefer a fingerprint sensor personally. A fingerprint sensor always works regardless of haircut, hat and other circumstances.
SPEAKERS:
Maybe this is just me coming from a macbook pro (whose speakers are the gold standard for laptop speakers), Razer blade has a tinny quality that lacks bass or follow through. Its not bad....but its certainly not good either. If you get this laptop, just use good quality headphones for music.
TRACKPAD:
The trackpad is pretty good. Its not the best though. I think the best Windows trackpad I have used is the one on the Surface laptops and the overall best is the Macbook Pro trackpad.
However, once you start using it, you won't really notice the difference, which is all that matters in the end.
LOOK:
I swear the case attracts smudges like I am in an episode of CSI. Even when my hands are totally clean, every touch leaves a smudge, forcing me to wipe down my laptop every so often in a vain effort to keep it clean.
The case I do admit is pretty nice and sleek and discreet (earning "stealth" moniker)
