This headset is great. It’s lightweight but packs a punch. Very comfy even for my big head. The Halo Infinite paint job is gorgeous and the finish is very smooth. I didn’t know there were RGB lights on the ear cups so it just adds another level of cool to the headphones. Sound quality is great and the EQ presets are very nice.

Very nice headset at a sale price, but not as good as I had hoped. Volume is good, with minimal distortion, however I found connection issues when using the app for controlling the equalizer and other customizations. Headset could be more comfortable if the head band had thicker padding and covered a little more area on top of the head. Ear cups did a good job covering my ears but I found them to be a little loose. I have an average size head and felt the cups could use a little more clamping force. Overall sound was good and could be modified in the app directly from the Xbox. Positional accuracy was very good when using Dolby Atmos. Battery life is acceptable and as advertised. I like the lighting on the ear cups, however it does take a toll on battery life. I found it cut the battery life by approximately 25%. Build quality is good and I have had no problem connecting to my iPhone. Firmware updates require access to a PC. Updates are not possible on a MAC.

If you're a Halo fan this is the headset for you. There is also a regular version by Razer without the specific Halo inspired design if you want. The sound is really nice, the design is really nice and intuitive. Only a couple sticking points, the volume wheel can be adjusted randomly sometimes if you're resting your head back or trying to adjust something on the left ear cup. Also the padding on the head piece can start to come undone after a couple months of heavier use. Other than that the ability to sync to Xbox and phone is awesome! And the sound is really nice as mentioned.

So overall it’s a solid headset and probably one of the best sound qualities I have used, but… it had a huge connection flaw with online gaming. At random times it consistently would drop connection and when it did audio would go out and a lag would happen. It got so bad it would cause me to lose ranked matches (hopefully gamers can understand this frustration). Maybe it might work better for some and for its price it was a great upgrade.

Buy them on sale, Best xbox headset under $100

Since Black Friday is going on wanted to share my experience. Have had these since March of 2022 and I have to say these are hands down the best headphones under $100 when on sale, they are a steal! At full price I feel for $30 more you should opt for the new Nova 7x by Arctis. Pros - Sound Quality - Ease of use (Built for Xbox so there is a razer xbox app in the xbox store for tuning) - Amazing FPS, pair this with the free Microsoft Sonic or purchase Dolby Atmos and you have full spacial hearing - Mic is awesome, Team can always here me even when I whisper, it does pick up background noise as well so don't annoy your friends with music in the background Cons - Connection, at times the connection randomly drops for no reason at all, they just disconnect for a few seconds. It's very annoying especially when playing something like MW2 because you lose that edge. I have yet to figure out what causes the drop - Noise Canceling, it's pretty good at blocking out most noises but if you live in a noisy city you will 100% here the trash trucks, traffic, etc. If you sit close to a window that is, if you are already pretty well isolated then these are perfect ( Parents you might have to go tap your kids on the shoulder to get their attention ) Overall these are great cans, at $90 when on sale. As mentioned at full price there are already other great competitors but at $90 there is no comparison. If you are thinking on passing on these don't. If you have an extra $70 to spare go for the Turtle Beach 700 Gen 2 Max, those are hands down the best under $200 cans when on sale lastly is money is no object, buy the Arctis Nova Pros (Wired or Wireless) Hands down the best gaming headphones in existence at the moment. Happy Holidays!

The in game sound provided by these headphones is amazing straight out of the box and a huge upgrade from the older Turtle Beach set I’ve been using. I’ve experienced one hiccup in connection due to game lag but I don’t think that was the fault of the headphones. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is due to recent patches done by Microsoft Edge that won’t allow XOBOX Series S/X users to download the program needed for use of the custom sound mapping EQ program. All in all these are great headphones and well worth the price. You will have four preset sound choices to choose from even without the custom mapping. The sounds of gunfire in BF are crisp and rotor sounds are more realistic. Heavy explosions are deep and definitely will add to the immersive experience for any gamer.

Replacing my broken Arctis 9x with these , and they are not far off in quality. Great fitment (I wear glasses too) sound quality is solid after updating and some custom EQ settings. Occasionally blown-out sound that was resolved by just powering off and on. Things to note - you can use an app on your xbox to customize sound/power saving options. You will need a computer to update them.

My son had broke a lot of the wired headsets for use with the Xbox Series X. A couple of them only last a couple of months before he somehow broke or messed up the wires. This has been great, no issues with connectivity, sounds great and has great battery life. He also prefers the sound in these versus the TV, so the room is quieter, just not him.

Decent headset for the price. Not sure if it’s a console issue or headset issue but I’ve had problems with the headset staying connected. The connection gets briefly interrupted which gets quite annoying. Other than some connection issues, the sound quality is pretty good. The lighting on the ear pieces is pretty neat too. Overall not a terrible headset

This is a really good headset option for Xbox. It’s uses the same wireless technology that the xbox controller uses and pairs the same way a controller does. Very easy and convenient. No dongle is needed for connectivity. Some say there is a lot of audio break up use to this type of connection but my experience has been minimal and acceptable. Love the RGB options and tunable EQ settings via the Razer headset ap for xbox. The master chief edition looks great and there has been a lot of detail put into the color scheme and has that battle scar look. Sound is also exceptional. Just make sure you enable Dolby Atmos in the xbox audio settings. Also like the Bluetooth capability option. I am able to connect to my laptop while I game on xbox at the same time. Would recommend!

Great sound and directional sounds are easy to pick up and determine. Mainly used in first person shooters like Fortnite, Halo Infinite, Modern Warfare II and Destiny 2. I can also connect my phone to the headphones so I don't have to interrupt my game tomtake calls from my wife. Only drawback is connectivity distance is shorter than my Razer Threshers was and now I get dropped sometimes going to the fridge for more caffeine.

These sound really good and feel great as they are decently light weight. I experienced too many connection issues. I hate how Microsoft has their proprietary connection method. I’d rather have a dongle. My PS5 doesn’t drop and uses a dongle.
