Very comfortable headset, sound is great. Comes with adaptor to split mic and sound to work with older computers. Xbox one, computer, and iPhone. Great all around. Mic hides into the left head phone so you don't look like your ushering in an airplane. When I use it for phone calls everyone comments how clear they hear me.

Best Buy did it again ... and again. A great headphone for my PS4 with an affordable price.

I have been gaming for quite a while, and I've always just used the headphones I use for my iPhone, since they have the built in mic, but lately I've wanted better sound quality. I bought these since they were under 100 bucks, and they're more than worth it. I can even listen to my music with them and I'm satisfied with the sound. They're incredibly comfortable, I've worn them entire nights when I'm playing Payday 2 or COD with my friends. Also, I love that the mic is extendable, so I can hide it if I don't need it right at that moment.

Let's get this out of the way! This headset is a little above average for the most part. As soon as you get it definately download the Razer software, you will want to calibrate it. You will also want to use the equalizer/custom sound shaping. If you don't you may find sound replay to be a little dull. The surround sound is fantastic. Gunfire, explosions, and the likes however pop and you can really get a good feel for your environment. They are very comfortable to wear for long periods and they never get to loud, it has mic and volume controls built in. Probably, one of the biggest pluses is that this is one of a few headsets that is plug and play with your PS4. I use it alot. Over all though not perfect for the price it is pretty darn good for a multiplatform headset.

OMG the sound quality, noise reduction, and comfort of these headphones is amazing..really love the tuck-away microphone...husbands only complaint is LACK of a volume adjuster on the headset or cable.

Like I said they are great, but they are not comfortable for first 35 minutes. The sound is excellent. Mic. works pretty good. But I have a problem. Your left ear probably will hurt if you wear them for more than 15 minutes. Everything is great except that. And they are soft. I love them!!!!

So far it's the sturdiest and best sound. I've had two models of SteelSeries and various others, but these guys are the best. I can already tell they guys will last long. No volume control or mute button means less to break, plus the solid closed construction and retractable mic will help as well.

This headset puts out great sound, very good low end for headset drivers. The retractable microphone makes these great for gaming or everyday use. They are light weight compared with other headsets(have owned beats pro, Bose, and multiple turtle beach over ear phones) and leave very little ear fatigue with long use. The headset is also very sturdy, adjustments hold very well and the cord is well made. this headset also runs in 2.1 surround as stated by the manufacturer meaning you can hear the direction a noise approaches you from, left or right. While it does not quite stack up to the 5.1 or 7.1 from my other gaming headsets it does give you a bit of directional feedback which is very helpful while gaming. This does not noticeably add or detract from music listening. My one real complaint is if you apply pressure to an ear cup it seems to suction to your head, you can hear the driver pop and it loses sound quality until it settles back into place. Great sound and the mic is easy to move out of the way because it retracts into the headset. Bought a second pair for another family member. A little small so they are a little tight on the head but I wear them for a long time and it doesn't have any long term negative effects.

I was looking a headset for my son to listen music and play video games on his tablet. I am very happy with this product, good sound quality and includes microphone as well. I compared other products online and this is one is by far the best cost/quality decision.

I bought these for my gamer son for Christmas. He really loves them. The sound is a surround sound. He says that it sounds like he is in the middle of whatever he listens to. The microphone slides out from the headset and slides back in, to keep it from easily getting broken. He said too that they go around his whole ear, unlike other headphones that he has used in the past. His ears don't get sore using these. They are kinda pricey, unless you get a good deal, like I did. They are worth the money.

Kraken gaming headset is comfortable and blocks a lot of outside noise. Mic has good clarity and headphone quality is good as well. Overall I like the purchase. It came with a free upgrade to surround sound pro which really gives you true surround sound. Unfortunately I removed it and can't get it back without paying for it.

This is my first set of real, high-tech headphones and it took me a lot of thought before I decided to purchase them. They're very comfortable, the sound is amazing, and the cables aren't too long or too short for standard laptop gaming. Unfortunately what I didn't look into was potential issues with the built-in microphone. It doesn't actually work. I thought it could just be me personally who was unable to get the microphone to not only be detected but to actually capture sound but this was not the case. I found after looking up this specific problem that the Kraken is notorious for having difficulties with the built-in mic and there's not a whole lot you can do. Other than not being able to use half of my purchase (the built in headset was one of the deciding factors of my decision to buy this product unfortunately) the headphones work wonderfully, are very comfortable even after extended wear, and are easy to store when not in use. I have the Geek Squad warrantee which I haven't yet taken advantage of to try and fix my mic issues but I figure the review is for the original purchase, not the end result after fiddling with it and fixing the product. Tldr; The Kraken works as great headphones but the built-in mic doesn't actually work.

I was looking for a comfortable over-the-ear headset to replace the standard PS4 earbud. The Kraken fit the specs I wanted, and didn't disappoint. The headset is comfortable, sturdy and delivers excellent sound. I only have one complaint, resulting in 4 stars instead of 5. The inline volume control does not provide much range. It's full volume, a little bit less than full, and off. For games that get really loud, this can be annoying. The Kraken plugs right into my PS4 controller and fits comfortably on my head. I did not want to deal with batteries or charging, so the Kraken was a perfect solution. The mic extends/retracts easily to suit your needs. Other players can hear me clearly, and I've never had a problem with online chats. As a bonus, since it has a standard audio jack, it works great on my Macbook Pro. While I have not tested it, I'm sure it would work just as well on a PC.

I purchased these since I didn't want to spend well over $100 on a pair of gaming headphones. These work perfectly for everything I needed them with. The mic is clearer than the one I had been using previously, the sound quality is good, and they're generally comfortable. Prolonged usage can be slightly irritating to the ears and side of the head, but I think my issue stems from my glasses.

My son is tough on headphones, but these take everything he throws at them and keep working. My wife actually ran over the cord with a vacuum cleaner and after taking the vacuum apart to get the cable unwound, I was not confident that these were going to work anymore. They work great. Try doing that with a set of headphones and see what happens. My son loves the sound of these as well. This was a purchase that was well worth the cost

I am very pleased with this product. It offers a great sound quality and range. The overall durability of the Razer Kraken Pro is top notch. I recently purchased a pair of Sol headphones and they broke that same month. Even with extreme care the buttons and left ear when bad. I have had the Razer Kraken Pro's for another two months with no problems. These are well built and great performing headphones.

I really enjoy these headphones. The fit of this headset along with the soft ear pads provides a secure seal around the ear. These headphones replaced my SteelSeries Siberia 200 headphones, which began having problems with the headband. One of the reasons I chose these headphones was the fact that the 3.5mm jack and retractable mic allow me to use these headphones on my mobile devices, like the iPod. The retractable mic is sensitive enough to leave in the ear cup. Not having a mic boom in front of me is really convenient. Also, the fit of these headphones is done in such a way that the headphones rest comfortably on my head, and allow me hours and hours of gaming without any discomfort. The quality of the material, workmanship, and sound was great, and as a result I expect to have these headphones for a long time. Great investment!
