So in full disclosure I got this as a free item along with something else I purchased. It's a really nice headset with great sound and mic clarity but I would personally not have purchased this exact model for a few small reasons. First while the padding is soft and mostly comfortable these are round and are not large enough to go around my ears so it presses Again's part of them and after a long session of gaming they can get uncomfortable. Secondly there is no inline mute or volume control which would be nice to have as my other headsets do have that and I like being able to mute my mic. Lastly it's strictly USB which again isn't a huge issue but that limits the headphones to being used with a PC or console. Overall the MSRP price is decent because the sound quality is really great. I'd say if you're on a budget or if you are buying for a younger gamer with smaller ears it's still a great buy. If you're willing to pay a bit more I would choose one of Razors other sets with oval ear cups and an inline mute.

It's ok, its razer after all. I just wish the ear pieces were bigger as they are quite small for over the ear and did hurt after a while. Black shark is way better, heck even the tiamat is better. Go with those. Sound is cool and the mic is the usual average.

I like the usb plug and play feature. Cord is thick and unit seems sturdy. Doesn't have dial to adjust volume on the cord. Volume adj dial always broke very quickly sending me to try a lot of other headsets. Good thing I always purchased the warranty on the other headsets, which eventually sent me to this one. I think this one will out live the 2 year extended warranty. Surround sound is amazing in this unit. Not the cheapest or most expensive price. Worth every penny I paid.

Pros: The sound is great and the mic pics up my voice quite well. It is Razor so of course it is attractive and it is also comfortable. Cons: The cord is kind of short and there is no in line mute or volume adjustment but those are the only issues I can find.

Loved it, felt good and works just fine for a razer. haven't tested the mic yet and not sure if there's a volume control switch but i love it. :)

I was excited to get them. They turned out to be exactly what I hoped for. They are very comfortable. They provide good sound.

We returned this headphone set because the microphone wasn't good. Other people had difficulty hearing through the microphone and he had trouble hearing them. The sound through the headphones of the games was good just not the microphone. We exchanged for Logitech and they worked great! Sooo much better!

I looked at alot of the headsets and this was the best for the money. Once at home, headset sounded great, but not a good fit for those with a large head. Even expanded, still pretty tight tot he point where I have to take it off after a while. Doesn't help that I wear glasses either.

PROS: I'm an amateur audiophile and the sound of these really impressed me. The microphone is clear for the person that I'm talking to. CONS: The only con that I could think of is the build quality. The plastic feels cheap and flimsy like it would be easy to break. If taken care of, I'm sure you could make it last a long time.

The headset adjusted well for comfort. The stereo effect added reality to my gaming.

I really like my Kraken as it is comfortable to wear, the sound quality is really good, and it matches the rest of my Razer products. The only thing I would like to see Razer do is add an inline volume/mic control. I don't particularly like to use push to talk and something as simple as inline control would be a great addition for someone like me. To be honest I never read a review that mentioned this flaw and when I bought it I assumed it had it. Now this is not a big enough issue for me to go and return the product but rather just a suggestion for Razer to do better since we pay a pretty high price for their products and to also let others know that there is no inline control.

I was reluctant in buying a USB headset, but circumstances made me need one. I could not be happier with the decision. Comfortable, easy to install and the clearest sound I have had in a headset to date. The microphone can be a little touch and go but overall a great buy.

I love this headset for sound quality but after a year the band on it just snapped and it was not from abusing it, I got it replaced I've had the 2nd one now several months and this one is doing the same thing in the exact same place, it's cracking across the band just above the headphone.

Perfect headphones for gaming. Can clearly hear all sounds and is very comfortable on my head.

This headset was just a few $$ over my intended budget, but so worth it! The comfortable ear covers cancel outside noise, and the quality of sound is optimal, both in the phones and through the mic. The appearance is cool, too - light up razer logos on either side, matches the other gear (also bought razer naga mouse) and the attached usb cable is bright green, impossible to end up tangled in a mass of wires.

I love how comfortable the ear pieces are and the noise cancelling ability.

Great sounding headset, no problems hooking up to a Windows 10 pc via USB. On a game I been playing for last month I heard sounds from the game that I never heard before on the surround speakers I had used till this point. Helped with the immersion level while playing.
